This template is a slightly modified Unleashed minus all storymaps and environments. Use the Sandbox to quickly and easily create your own Scene. (For personal use only)
Its made for Desktop creation and VR gameplay. Creating in VR is not as comfortable and will take longer.
Comes with Unleashed as an extra goodie for T2 supports. Play Unleashed (especially the tutorial) first if you are new - otherwise you might have trouble understanding the gameplay approach.
- Craft your own Unleashed-Storymaps. Bring a good idea, cute girls and an environment - Unleashed brings everything else.
- Small filesize (50mb) variant with vastly improved performance and loading times - the best way to enjoy the Sandbox in Mixed Reality or on very old Hardware.
- Offers an Environment-UI that allows you to rapidly create atmosphere by setting the time of day, lighting, rain, wind (+physics) and more with simple buttons and sliders.
- EzCreation UI (Beta) that helps inexperienced VaM players to create Scenes. You dont need any knowledge on how to navigate VaM's complex UI to create a Scene yourself.
Why should i play the Template instead of the base Version?
- Passthrough experience or old Hardware: The raw template has way more fps and faster loading times by itself (due to being significantly lighter), while simultaneously keeping all Sandbox functions. Your Passthrough-experience will be better in the Template version. The template will also be playable on a wider range of systems due to the heavily improved performance - old hardware will be able to get proper performance here.
- Making your own Scene without any creator-experience: The modified UI allows for easy as pie creation by simply loading an environment and your favourite appearance. Hundreds of poses, voicelines and many customizations are still in here, but you can now choose your own environments to play on. Furthermore, the new environment UI allows for creating atmosphere with simple sliders and buttons - you can set the time of day or weather effects in seconds.
What do i need to know before i can craft Scenes with the Unleashed Template?
Nearly nothing, the Creation UI precisely detaches the relevant VaM-UI's and displays them to you. Every UI contains written information on how to load environments and appearances quickly.
You should know:
- how to save an appearance preset in VaM
- where the .assetbundle file of the map you want to load is located on your PC
