• Hi Guest!

We are extremely excited to announce the release of our first Beta for VaM2, the next generation of Virt-A-Mate which is currently in development.

INFORMATION: VAMCUI will not be supported (or updated) anymore. I recommend looking at VAMStory that allows you to make really quickly "buttons panels" with more features and content than VAMCUI.

⚠ PLEASE:
  • If you like this plugin, consider liking and reviewing it for the community
  • Read the description, read the ingame help if you have any trouble. I will not answer private messages asking questions about things that are actually explained in the documentation/help.
VAMCUI (VAM Custom UI) is a plugin allowing you to customize the appearance of UIButton and UIText atoms. You can change the background appearance, font, shader, add and tweak an animation, force it to rotate to the camera (player).

How to use
  • Open or create a scene.
  • Add or select either a UIButton or UIText atom
  • Load VAMCUI in the plugins tab
  • Click on Open custom UI to edit the options
This what the UI of VAMCUI looks like :

If you have any doubt about the configuration... the big help box on the left is here to help you.

Thanks a lot to my fellow friends and testers Spacedog and Juno.

Really great way to make scenes less bland and be more professional looking. I have only used it goofing around so far but I am sure it will be in something I release since its so easy to use.

away from home so I can't use ... but I saw a "variable scroll speed" slider ...wow!!! waiting since years for that!! Scrolling down thousands elements in a list was since always a pita in vr

Haha! I guess you're gonna be disappointed, it is a scroll speed for the shaders, not the dropdowns :p

It's good to add more variety to those quite limited (yet so useful) UIButtons! Font and alignment, finally! Thank you!
It has the potential to make different and really nice buttons... as well as truly ugly ones ^^'

No problem at all!
And yeah, you can unlock your creative genius to either do superb things... or super bad looking buttons : D
