They said that’s where the cruel High Elves live — merciless toward anyone who isn’t one of their kind. (The Mountain High Elves…)
But who would believe such bedtime stories? Certainly not you.
After all, those are just tales to scare before sleep.
And really, how could anyone fear elves, when ogres and goblins exist?
Early in the morning, you set out for the nearby settlement to buy supplies before your journey to the cave in search of treasure.
But what’s this? The main road is blocked — a rockslide!
You’ll have to take the shortcut. That path always led to the settlement faster…
But it passes directly through the mountains — the very trail no living soul dares to walk.
Do you have a choice? No.
If you stay — you’ll be left without supplies.
So, risking everything, you take the mountain path.
As you cross a clearing with a glowing tree, you suddenly fall into the hands of two elven women. Or rather, one elf — who used forbidden soul-splitting magic.
The ritual consumed nearly all her mana, leaving her divided in two: one gentle and kind, whose presence draws you in… and the other — cold, dark, and clearly not wishing you well.
They demand mana — your mana — to restore themselves, to become whole again.
But can you really help them?
After all, you’re just human… without any mana of your own.
Still, the elves are clever, and they seem to know exactly what they’re doing.
Now, you are their prisoner. But is that truly a bad thing?
Or perhaps… you’re the lucky one?
It’s up to you to decide — How far are you willing to go to survive?
What would you do to regain your freedom? Or will you remain in her domain forever?
Perhaps… that wouldn’t be such a bad fate after all.
Maybe it’s worth more than all the treasures in the world.
