Warning, Read before playing
- This is an Halloween scene. It contains scary moments. People not enjoying stressful situations or horror tropes might want to avoid this story.
- You need to have mirrors enable in your Performances settings to enjoy the scene as it should be.
- Scene is tested with and without the CPU patch without high quality physics. It is bug free on a panel of 12 persons. Any bug report is welcome
- Ensure you have all dependencies and they are all up to date.
- KNOW ISSUE:Some people depending on their CPU and GPU, or VAM mods, could have desktop and/or VR issues with Moyashi's post processing (camera jittering and rendering artifacts).
- Load the scene ScaryMary.json, if you have any of the aforementioned issues, reset VAM and load ScaryMary_no_pp.json instead.
- The no_pp version (not post-processing) is a bit washed out on the color grading and is less fun in a specific moment of the scene, but at least you can play it!
The story of Grimoire 69
VAMCity, October 2024, Halloween day.
Violet is a sophisticated young women, and is stuck at home because of the storm. No candy tonight (even if she's way too old for that). Even worse, Halloween's movie night is the same movie they show every year.
Lucky for her, aunt Liz left a strange book for her. Grimoire 69, the story and mysteries of the 101 sex Ghosts. The night is young... she opens the book and starts reading.

You might encounter more Ghosts after Midnight!
Recommandations
Scary Mary is a story driven scene thought and optimized for a VR experience. You are free of your movements (except in one situation) but we would recommend to somewhat stay in the vicinity of where you are spawned everytime the scene change.
The scene is perfectly playable on desktop. As soon as you load the scene we recommend swapping to Mouse Look mode using TAB and use WASD if you want to move.
As advanced users of VAM we use a technique to load complex scenes and ensure a smooth experience. We suggest you try it too: load the scene a first time, let the cache build up, after reaching the main menu, exit and hard reset VAM. Then launch the scene for your first playthrough (this is only needed the first time).
