Definitive Guide for modeling in VAM (morphs, clothes, hair and CUA)

My attempt with this post is to create an easier way to learn the basics (and advanced) steps to model in VAM

Sadly I cannot create the guide, I'm a newbie, but trying to learn I've found the information is spread in a lot of links, some of them outdated, maybe we can build just one guide with the best (and updated) data?

This is what I got so far:

Not sure how to import into VAM (do we need to import first to DAZ and then to VAM?)

Is this better than FaceGen?

4. DAZ to VAM
Vam internally uses DAZ Genesis 2 models, so if you model it inside DAZ using Genesis 2 everything should be compatible.
Is a bit confusing anyway, some people are reporting problems, would be great to have an updated and detailed tutorial with all the tips and recommendations

Combine morphs to apply with just one morph in VAM:

Does this means we could download any DAZ Genesis 2 character and use it in VAM without too much effort?
(what about the hair and clothes?)

5. ANY OTHER 3D Software to VAM
Steps are basically to create a DAZ Genesis 2 model as a base model, export it, import that into another 3D sculpt software, and then export and import again in DAZ

SKIN / TEXTURES

When using software like DAZ, FaceGen etc, it will create the texture too

Wow, this is a nice compilation of info!

It'd be nice if there was more info on CUA physics out there. I've been trying to figure out how to do CUA hair for porting anime, game, etc. characters for awhile.

Regarding porting characters, another section you could possibly add could be info on baking textures from one model to another. On the hub I found a guide and template by MrGiggly (see below) for working with Genesis models at least.
