The scene

A selection of poses with a reactive character.
Vega's expression changes not just at random, but by various triggers you indirectly influence. All action/movement is done through forces; physics for joints have been adjusted with this in mind; letting the physics engine animate her. All these variables combined often turn out some magic moments where the illusion of a live character completes.

Further details:
  • Initially a simple scene just for showing off the fur. Made with built-in assets, to keep dependencies down.
    • Highly performant with only one person and one pixel light.
  • 58 poses, powered by BodyLanguage
    • This means everything has a good degree of randomization; idle movements and thrusting, gazing at points of interest and you. Helping bring her to life, and replayability high.
    • As most poses are just me playing with the physics. Poses have no real story/progression to them.
    • Multiple camera angles to cycle through per pose (desktop mode). With manually adjusted DoF for each, and some triggering a reaction from Vega.
      • For the BL* unintiated, putting the dildo in her hand(s), in between breasts, or orifices, will automatically enable thrusting/stroking in any pose.
  • Vag physics [still a little experimental]
    • The vag has been fixed open so you can see the action.
    • The innards will be pushed around through clothsim and depth calculations.
      • There will be some clipping and excessive stretching due to the unpredictability of sim.
    • An optional toggleable camera has been attached to the dildo and is fed to a tablet screen.
  • Custom clothskin preset
    • Used for bulging: Her stomach has been made soft, a sphere atom rests invisibly in her pelvis. The dildo will displace it if the angle and depth is right, causing it to push at her skin from the inside. It is entirely physics-based, and creates an almost rippling effect by contrast to morph-based bulges.
    • Movement causes subtle skin motion in soft areas.
  • Breathing animation and pulse that syncs with stimulus. With SFX.

Vega - new assets

I liked OniEkohvius' Vega port so much I've tweaked and amassed some extra custom assets over the years:
  • Full body fur.

    • Painstakingly brushed/styled in VR.
    • Sim and collision is off. Low performance impact.
      • By using ClothSkin, you still get softness.
        • Custom sim textures for ClothSkin included.
    • Note
      • Vertex lights do not affect hairs. They'll cause a color mismatch.
      • You should have at least 2x MSAA or be supersampling. Otherwise hairs will be very noisy.
  • Tail
    • Rigged, poseable, collision and physics-enabled.
      • Can be moved around with your VR hands without grabbing anything.
    • CUA preset that automatically attaches to "Person" in a scene.
  • Clothing items
    • Vega's hair and ear assets can be applied with one click.
    • Eye brows.
    • Bottom lip.
  • Textures
    • Genitals inspired by the original model.
  • Morph adjustments
    • Fangs.
    • Mouth depth.
    • Neck.
    • Nostril and iris depth.
    • Genitals.
      • Custom morph for the shape.
      • Untangled the opening so you can see inside.
  • Other
    • Cervix ported from the original Smutbase model. Since it's now possible to see in.



Instructions/How to use​

Look at the turqoise sphere to show the UI buttons. Alternatively they always show when the menu is open. Grab the sphere to move the UI around.


Buttons:
Dildo toggle* : Show/hide the dildo. Many poses will switch the dildo off, unless:
Dildo posing : When off, the dildo won't be moved on pose change. Handy for VR.
Dildo cam : Lets you peek through the dildo and see the action.
Unconstrict tail : In some poses the tail is held in place by controllers, this will free it.
DoF: Turn off depth of field (desktop mode only)
Screenfade: Toggle black-out of the screen on pose change
Top: Click to go through different clothing states for her top in sequence. Normal, expose, off.
Shorts: Same as top. Sim, undress, off.
Lock: Some poses call upon specific clothing states. Check this to lock the current state for either top or shorts throughout pose changes.
Bust*: Switch between her stock bust size or my slightly reduced bust preset.
*Only visible when UI menu open

Settings
For best accuracy to what I've been creating the scene with, set "Physics Rate" to 60Hz and "High Quality Physics" off.
Smooth passes I've kept at 2.
You only need 1 pixel light.




On scene load it automatically applies some things depending on whether you're in VR or desktop mode.

Mode specific instructions:

For desktop,

Use the thumbnails to change pose. Clicking on the current pose again changes to the next camera. Right clicking goes to the previous camera. Alternatively click the HUD arrows.
The top arrows changes category. Clicking the text toggles the thumbnails.

Depth of Field can be turned off with the huge UIToggle on the wall behind her, visible only while VAM's in-game menu is open. A smaller toggle is also available among the other buttons.

Hitting Q causes the dildo to orgasm. Also causes a stim spike in Vega.

I highly recommend getting the Keybindings plugin by AcidBubbles, and binding some hotkeys to switch pose and angles:

  1. Add keybindings plugin to session plugins.
  2. Open the plugin UI.
  3. Find and bind the commands shown above.
  4. Click save on top of the plugin UI.
  5. Go to "session plugin presets"
  6. Click "changer user defaults".
  7. Click "set current as user defaults".
Now the keybinds will be applied on every VAM launch. And you can change camera with left/right arrows, and pose with up/down arrows.
For VR,

there's a point and click overlay for poses. Reposition it by opening the menu. Camera angles are disabled by default when launching in VR mode (though cycling through them they will still trigger actions, if any), as is Depth of Field.
She reacts to (with chance):
Where you're looking.​
Touch of some regions. Touch her head for a second and she'll turn her attention to you.​
Mouth and kiss proximity.​
Power and depth of thrusts.​


Use the dildo in any pose and in most of them she will automatically start stroking etc.
Go to person plugin #5 FillMeUp and toggle them under forces for the relevant tab if needed.​

Non-dependency credits:
  • Scene is using a big handful of @AshAuryn 's expressions from her packs. To avoid forcing 100's of morphs into your list, I've decided to include them in the .var instead of listing them as dependencies. Hopefully crediting her will appease! They will only be loaded if the scene is loaded.
  • PosingHelper from Ruvik. Makes posing fun. And somehow easier than in VR. Wouldn't have made half this many poses without it.
  • @Stopper 's and @Skynet 's CUA clothing plugins.
  • @BooMoon 's lips layer clothing item.

Really nice model with touchable tail :) It is clearly one of best fur based on hair system :) clearly author spend dozen of hours polishing it ! Good job !

The vr scene, the shaking is very bad

The cause of this may have been found. The Moyashi post-process plugin doesn't always play nice if you have "asynchronous spacewarp" enabled for your headset. Easiest solution to this I think would be remove the plugin from the scene plugins and save it as a new VR specific scene. Can try toggling AS off and on again while the scene is running too.

amazing work. only note is its a little hard to swap appearances bc of the ears/tail remaining for example

Glad the scene is good enough to inspire appearance swapping. I can put in a on/off toggle for all the Vega specific CUAs on the next update. Turns out removing the tail without some extra steps is a bad idea due to the plugin it uses.
