LAMBDA CONCERT HALL
An MMD stage located in a packed performance hall.

All footage captured in Virt-A-Mate in real-time—non-rendered, PostMagic/PostAnother only. ReShade motion blur is used.
Here's an MMD stage I've had cooking for quite some time, poking at it and iterating slowly until it reached the set of features and aesthetic that I wanted. It's available on my Patreon for either a sub to any tier, or as a one-off purchase.
It's highly customizable—most elements can be toggled on and off—and includes full audio-reactivity to drive light shows, crowd cheer triggers, concert-style cinematic cam, among other things that come together to make it feel like you're attending an actual concert performance. I can run this on my machine in real-time with all options enabled except reflective floors and softbody physics at a good framerate, as demonstrated in the video above without rendering. Since it's built out of mostly shapes and pieces already included with VAM, it should be a smooth experience.

Included
Here's what the stage looks like on first load:
Audio-reactive light runners, light show, speakers, background screens, and several props that all come together once music is playing. At any time, press F2 to return to the menu below to customize:
Most things unchecked look like the screenshot below, if you don't want it to look as busy with everything enabled.
Highlights
- Fully custom lighting setup—environment lighting, and full light rig included.
- Custom soundscape using royalty-free sound effects to further enhance the atmosphere. There's crowd and idle stage music ambiance, crowd cheering that queues up while music is playing, and sounds for pyrotechnic bursts.
- Full lighting suite powered by LumenForge by Shadow Venom for stunning godrays, backlighting, and audio-aware effects. This stage was meant as a test as to how many of LumenForge's features I could fit.
- Volumetric fog on the stage floor, added via SteamForge, also by Shadow Venom.
- Hand-crafted environment with cubes and LED lights placed around the scene to make everything look sleek, modern, and believable. Fencing in the pit, and some metal girders make everything feel attached and cohesive.
- Full concert camride—around 15 different randomized angles—utilizing pans FOV zooms for cinematic effect. The idea was to make your performances to look like it's being performed at a concert, recorded, or if your MMD motion doesn't include a solo camera.
- Cinematic camera speed slider if you need the concert cam to move slower or faster.
There's a lot here, so there may be a few things I forgot to list. Feel free to click around and turn things on and off!
Additional Notes
- To hook up your MMD music to feed the audio-reactive lights and crowd cheer triggers, set your MMD player's audio output to SFXStageMusic. The setup for these effects will catch on the treble, mids, and bass of the music.
- If you're using zhfx's MMD Player, set the audio type to Atom, and edit the Music Source in the ENVLumenAudioListener plugin settings to point at the atom it creates. This stage was meant for mmd2timeline, so some of the crowd cheer triggers won't catch properly, but you'll still at least get the light show to react to the music for your plays/renders.
A couple things regarding performance. The most expensive things in the scene are as follows:
— Reflective floor
— Background screens
— Live screens
— Backlights
If you're struggling to reach a good live framerate, try disabling these things first to bring up your frames while not losing most of the props in the scene. Additionally consider turning off softbody physics to free up more CPU.
