She's a killer. One look is all it takes.
Was the last scene I uploaded really back in May of 2023? I could have sworn I did something last year, but I guess not! That makes this super-short scene seem like a very lukewarm offering to the VAM gods after so long, but it will have to do!
Towards the end of 2023, I landed a new position at work, and it's been a huge undertaking that's eaten a lot of my time. Things started to shift towards the end of the summer of 2024 though, and I was able to start dedicating some time into scene creation again. I scrapped an older mermaid-themed project from 2023 that was just too tricky to dive back into after not animating for so long. I was also really longing for some inspiration after such a long absence.
I started playing around with positions, I scoured my music library for a new song, and I poked around with the latest hub looks submitted by super-talented creators. None of it was really motivating me at first. I was pretty sure I wanted to do something in a cozy environment again, maybe another loft apartment or something along those lines. I've always loved Nial's Industrial Apartment, but I could never fully get it set up how I wanted it.
I ended up going back through many of my favorite scenes I'd collected over the years, and I even ended up re-watching all of the ones I'd created myself. I found my inspiration in the that collection of scenes, my own creations and the creations of others, and got back to work. There's way more to that story, but I'll save it for another day when that scene finally comes together. For now, know that I have another scene with a full environment and half a dozen different positions that I've been poking at off-and-on for months now, and it's probably about 80% complete.
But you know me, I get burnt out when the animation gets tricky, and that scene is quite tricky. The customization to the apartment alone took a lot of time. So what happens when I need a "break?" I start working on another scene, of course! Yes, to break the cycle of animation fatigue, I... animate something else! That's how we've landed here!
There are probably healthier ways to spend my time. I've accepted it though. Hanna's Side Ride and Cyberpunk came from animation fatigue, as did Runaway, technically, so how bad can it be? The worst part, of course, is how short this scene is. Clocking in at just under two minutes, this is definitely on the shorter side of the stuff I've made. Fortunately, you have some great eye candy for that two minutes.
And I mean, WOW. How fucking hot is Juno's Colleen? Like, seriously, I haven't been this excited to work with a look in a very long time. Like the line from this scene's song, Romantic Lover by Eyedress states, one look was all it took for me.

There isn't a lot new here. I didn't add any auto expressions or female audio this time, since she spends so much time looking away from you, and I was really just looking to finish this project in a reasonable amount of time. What you will find is pretty standard.
There's a Start button to start the action, a Start Cam button for the cam ride, Stop button to stop and reset the scene, and a volume slider for the music. The whole vibe with this song sort of made me feel like this was destined to have a retro-filtered look to it. I wish there was a plugin for VHS scan lines, cause this scene would have had it! I added a checkbox to turn that off (retro on/off), if it isn't your jam.
There's also a toggle for POV using AcidBubbles' Embody. The only odd/new thing I've done here are the three, faint red circles scattered around the chair and our amorous couple. Clicking one of these will bring the menu to that location, which should make it easy to control the scene no matter where you are. I was trying something new, so if it's terrible, please let me know in the comments! I'm always looking for ways to improve UI in both desktop and VR mode.

Since the 'new' format for dependency links on the Hub is now included, I don't need to spend two more pages typing out all of my thank you notes to the other creators who made this scene happen, but I can't help but give my usual shoutouts to Acid Bubbles, hazmhox, MacGruber, and ToumeiHitsuji who invariably end up with something in every one of my scenes. These creators are truly the backbone of my workflow, and I couldn't make this stuff without them. About half of the dependencies here come from the dependencies in Juno's Colleen, so big thank yous all around to ddamm, Hunting-Succubus, Jackaroo, Riddler, VAMJFD, VAMGS, VL_13, and of course to Juno for making Colleen so stunning to look at. This is my first scene using CheesyFX's ShakeIt, so a shoutout there to adding the muscle realism to a scene that needs that extra level of detail. I also used Redeyes' cum pack here for the first time, as it really had everything right where I needed it.
As ever, thank you to all who create, whether it's textures and clothing, or plugins and quality-of-life content. You are the true heroes for those of us who just share our scenes. None of this stuff is possible without you. If I've missed people here, please let me know!
