• Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released another critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.10 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
[Experimental] Alternative Futa

Plugins + Scripts [Experimental] Alternative Futa

I really like the approach of this plugin in that you have far more options for clothes, hair, etc for female models but I haven't figured out how to get this to work properly with the Realistic Foreskin & Erection Simulation plugins, mainly because the Fluids 101 plugin inherits the female body type so you don't get the male options. I am pretty new to this (first post ever) so maybe there is a simple way to resolve this I am missing?

Decided to text a plain character with no other plugins on them individually.
Each time installing an older version, "allowing" it, enabling female gens and hiding male pelvis. Than saving the plugin preset, removing the plugin and loading the preset.
Also closing and restarting the game between each test.

Version 28 = Broken.
Version 27 = Broken.
Version 26 = Broken.
Version 25 = Broken.
Version 24 = Broken.
...
This is strange since i thought 24 was the working version?
Maybe somethings broken? or a file corrupted?

I think i was mistaken.
Going all the way back to version 21 and its working correctly.
21 must have been the version i had before updating it.
I have found v24 to be the best version. I've never tried to use Plugin Presets though, I'd assume there would be a variety of problems that could occur depending on the Skin that is selected, as the plugin will initially loads itself based on the current Skin(UV) that is in use. So loading that preset on to another skin type could cause numerous problems. I have always just saved the entire character as a subscene, and have never run into an issue loading them up that way.
I also have a similar issue with not being able to properly blend the triangle pattern. Where you able to figure out how to fix this?

I tried to get this to work with some cc by textures such as Riddler skin 4 and 5 and ended up with a triangle pattern on the front. I eventually got it closer to matching/blending by modifying the texture but ended up with a black spot on the back. I searched the hub for examples and viewed their scene and see a lot of people have had the same issue with trying to get it to blend in the front and having the triangle pattern.
I have had great success blending textures within blender. I usually will do it for each model individually though, as there are far too many morphs that adjust hips/pelvis/genital regions that would knock it out of alignment. Normally I would make the textures in this order:
-Make character with the Skins/textures I want, for everything but the Genitals. This includes morphing the character to the desired look.
-Under "Control & Physics 1" at the bottom there is an "Export OBJ and MTL files (look in root folder after click)" button. Click that button, and go to your root to pull it up in blender. They will be called "AltFutaSkin_skinned.obj"
-In blender load your materials like torso and genitals(there should be 2 for the male genitals just load the same image into both, and one for the female gen.)
-Then start blending. It usually works great, you will need to do it for the Torso, Gen, and female Gen textures for diffuse, spec, and Gloss. I've been unsuccessful doing Normal(bump) Maps in blender. blender hates them for some reason that's beyond me, right now. (If anyone knows why please let me know!)
-To properly do the Normal(bump) Maps, you will need to either know something I don't :p or do some photo editing trickery which is what I've been doing. For the most part it looks pretty good.

Here are 2 examples of ones I've made recently.
The first image is using SSS. On the second you may notice on some of the angles the black(geometry clipping) lines as I'm not using the SSS plugin. I normally do, but for this example I thought it would be better not to, so you can see what it's like without extra plugins.

Due to not knowing how to get Blender to accept Normal(bump) Maps, you can see it's not 100% perfect. But its pretty close, and as in VR you can't really see Bump maps anyway, it looks perfect in VR.

As mentioned above, I didn't use any of the provided OBJ's on the site, I just created ones from the characters I wanted the textures for. I'd recommend the same, as the way this plugin hacks VaM, and the fact we are plastering two UV's on top of one another, it will almost never look 100% as a universal texture because of changing morphs.

If you need help with Blender, I used the guide below as my primary way to learn what to do. It's practically the same process, just you are applying the gen texture to both the male and female gens.

So I haven't played around with it to see if I can reproduce it, but if you have a model with the alternative futa plugin applied, and THEN you load a new scene and load a male model into it, the male model's penis is broken, so one can freely move about the tip and mid nodes, and the IK skeleton rig will just stretch to fit.

For some reason the penis starts to shake violently when using this plugin with a semi-huge penis, about the length of the thigh of a default atom, i tweaked for a bit with colider editor but to no siginificant avail, does anyone has a solution to this problem? (also one potentially useful insight is that when i move the bone+mesh z offset far enough the shake is gone, thou it is like a good 5cm strech of the atom's skin so not a solution on its own)

Sometimes penis physics may be bugged and rotating, restart level or restart vam can help

Hello newbie here just started play with Vam love this plugin but the problem im having is that when i use it on a female the pelvic area does not match the skin color as the female...sorry if the question was already answered.

Hello there. I tried to answer about this not so far https://hub.virtamate.com/threads/experimental-alternative-futa.39823/post-170044
Main problem that textures for female and male has different UV and you should use texture sets specially made for alt futa or make your own. Also this extra penis has different settings like tint, specular, glosiness, etc.

when I add some sort of torso decals or textures this happens. how do I get rid of the messy textures

It is a bug that skin texture changing also changing penis textures. You should select body textures and after that select penis textures. Or reselect if it was selected earlier. Reload button seems does not work

Just click reload.

Unfortunately not really, the plugin developer of fluids101 (Hazmhox) would need to differentiate alt futa from female atoms in the code to set a proper fluid starting point. I implemented this differentiation in the Realistic Foreskin & Erection plugins already and do what I can to get the fluids to the penis tip, but is still unsatisfactory. I think Hazmhox knows that, so if there is a lot of interest in Stopper's alt futa plugin it will possibly get sorted out.

Hey community, is there a way to hide/show the alt futa penis by triggers when adding/removing clothing? I did not find a good way so far, only the Hide Material tick in the UI, but this seems unavailable to triggers. Thanks!

EDIT: With plugin presets it can be done (one with hide materials "on", the other with "off"), but this will not allow switching back and forth as the plugin preset is either merged (adds several items of the same plugin - not good) or reset (removes other plugins of the same atom too, such as timeline).

EDIT2: PluginPresets in combination with AppearancePresets with the AltFuta plugin (v28) now work - but the following rules have to be considered (my experiences):
- Do not load a plugin preset with "hide materials" activated - this will lead to loss of textures (black gens). Instead, run the "hide material" trigger after everything is completely loaded.
- Do not load appearances (body textures) and plugin presets at the same time (e.g. in one trigger) - instead, embed each phase into a timeline animation with sufficient time between body texture loading and plugin preset loading. You can also place the "hide material" trigger at the very end of the animation (if needed, e.g. for futa with clothes on)

EDIT3: If you need persistent trigger actions to an alt futa plugin (e.g. "hide material") that is removed/added by a plugin preset, you cannot use normal UI button triggers or timeline triggers, because they get destroyed once the alt futa plugin is removed. Instead, you can use the following trick:
1. Add an (empty) timeline segment (lets call it "test") in another atom (e.g. a CUA).
2. Add the same timeline segment (called "test") in the alt futa plugin preset of the futa person.
3. Add the needed trigger action (e.g. "hide material") to the trigger track of the timeline of the futa person.
If you play the CUA timeline segment "test" with the "play segment" trigger action, the futa atom timeline segment with the same name will automatically also be launched. This relation remains stable, even if removing/adding the futa plugin preset.

Hi - Thanks for the awesome plug-in. Question and maybe a request. I would like to trigger Reload Skin from a UI Button. And ideally would like to trigger "Load Preset with Path" with a UI Button. the objective is to change a female model to alt futa in play with a control panel. would include choices for skins. Is that possible now or could you add the ability to reference those targets from an action? Thank You!
Yea, this would enable s lot of stuff in scenes. Just tried the same and it seems impossible to get the switching to work reliably and via trigger buttons only, as the saved presets cannot be triggered.

If I am loading an Alt Futa plugin preset which seems to work perfectly I still get the following error message:
!> Could not find any policy for material Custom/Discard
What does that mean? Is this because I do not have/add alpha textures for transparency? I do not use this (transparent shader is deactivated).

That would be awesome, Its kinda hard to do convincing Anal with male base model futas. I can get something that looks OK bit it still look like a penis clipping through a person rather than having some convincing morphs like females models do.

Hi - I'm trying to make clothing parts for this. My first attempt was pretty close, but I'm missing a step. My mesh is just kind of floating where it's supposed to be, but not deforming with the junk.

Figured out that the template I was using was slightly off. Just needed to adjust something and remake it.

Looking for help from some clothing makers. I made some shorts with sim. It works fine when female gens are active, but when I hide female gens the shorts disappear instantly. How can I fix this?

The trick was to have hide anatomy on while making the clothes.

Hi dude. I think this is a common problem for us.
For some reasons, Blender is kinda sensitive to the “opacity” data of Normal Maps in .png format. (This may happen for any other maps too, idk why...)
Based on my practice, it is feasible to process Normal Maps in .JPG (not sure if 100% okay).

Besides converting PNG to JPG, I wonder if anyone has a better way. Pls kindly share it.

Well... I'm trying to approach the problem from another point of view, right now I'm working on the tedious task of tweaking the parameters and textures of some sim clothing items (shorts and underwear), to make them have a bulge and conceal the flaccid genitals, using them in combination with Autocock plug-in. I think it's much more natural and hotter than disabling the genitals when your model is dressed, don't you guys think? As soon as I have them ready, I'll upload them to the hub.

Hello! I've been testing AltFuta together with vamtaco's Auto Cock plug-in and urukyay's Experimental Ball Physics plug-in. They work well with Alt Futa V.21... don't know about more recent versions, but they're definitely not working with the last version of Alt Futa (V.28) For Balls Physics plug-in, it just wont do anything, and for Auto Cock, it won't load morphs. Any effort from these plug-ins developers to try to fix this would be much, much appreciated!

I tested the compatibility of the experimental physics ball script and it is not high. It is only fully compatible with male characters. If there is a female character with the altfuta plug-in in the scene, then when you reload the scene, the experimental physics ball script will become invalid, but this does not happen to male characters.

I've just tested it a while ago. That happens when you shut down VAM and restart it again. If you keep VAM running, and reload the scene, Ball Physics plug-in still works, but it stops working after you have shut down and restarted VAM. Tested it with AltFuta v.21 on a female character.

Thank you for your contribution, some fine work honestly. You leave excellent notes in your code btw, I appreciate that.
I was wondering if it's possible to get more colliders into the penis, and it'd be super convenient to tie those extra colliders right into this plugin specifically!
I noticed...
gen1Bone = characterRun.bones.GetDAZBone("Gen1");
gen2Bone = characterRun.bones.GetDAZBone("Gen2");
gen3Bone = characterRun.bones.GetDAZBone("Gen3");

I'm not familiar with Daz at all, thinking about getting it and opening up the model, or some other program.. I'm curious if the model only has 3 penis bones in it? Also curious about any advice you could give if I do end up trying to mess with the bones/colliders. Really just looking to gauge how much time I'd have to commit to this

Hi Stopper,

There seems to be an issue with the latest security patch of VAM. I can't load this Plugin anymore to a Person.
