Decided to text a plain character with no other plugins on them individually.
Each time installing an older version, "allowing" it, enabling female gens and hiding male pelvis. Than saving the plugin preset, removing the plugin and loading the preset.
Also closing and restarting the game between each test.
Version 28 = Broken.
Version 27 = Broken.
Version 26 = Broken.
Version 25 = Broken.
Version 24 = Broken.
...
This is strange since i thought 24 was the working version?
Maybe somethings broken? or a file corrupted?
I think i was mistaken.
Going all the way back to version 21 and its working correctly.
21 must have been the version i had before updating it.
I have found v24 to be the best version. I've never tried to use Plugin Presets though, I'd assume there would be a variety of problems that could occur depending on the Skin that is selected, as the plugin will initially loads itself based on the current Skin(UV) that is in use. So loading that preset on to another skin type could cause numerous problems. I have always just saved the entire character as a subscene, and have never run into an issue loading them up that way.
I also have a similar issue with not being able to properly blend the triangle pattern. Where you able to figure out how to fix this?
I tried to get this to work with some cc by textures such as Riddler skin 4 and 5 and ended up with a triangle pattern on the front. I eventually got it closer to matching/blending by modifying the texture but ended up with a black spot on the back. I searched the hub for examples and viewed their scene and see a lot of people have had the same issue with trying to get it to blend in the front and having the triangle pattern.
I have had great success blending textures within blender. I usually will do it for each model individually though, as there are far too many morphs that adjust hips/pelvis/genital regions that would knock it out of alignment. Normally I would make the textures in this order:
-Make character with the Skins/textures I want, for everything but the Genitals. This includes morphing the character to the desired look.
-Under "Control & Physics 1" at the bottom there is an "Export OBJ and MTL files (look in root folder after click)" button. Click that button, and go to your root to pull it up in blender. They will be called "AltFutaSkin_skinned.obj"
-In blender load your materials like torso and genitals(there should be 2 for the male genitals just load the same image into both, and one for the female gen.)
-Then start blending. It usually works great, you will need to do it for the Torso, Gen, and female Gen textures for diffuse, spec, and Gloss. I've been unsuccessful doing Normal(bump) Maps in blender. blender hates them for some reason that's beyond me, right now. (If anyone knows why please let me know!)
-To properly do the Normal(bump) Maps, you will need to either know something I don't
or do some photo editing trickery which is what I've been doing. For the most part it looks pretty good.
Here are 2 examples of ones I've made recently.
The first image is using SSS. On the second you may notice on some of the angles the black(geometry clipping) lines as I'm not using the SSS plugin. I normally do, but for this example I thought it would be better not to, so you can see what it's like without extra plugins.
Due to not knowing how to get Blender to accept Normal(bump) Maps, you can see it's not 100% perfect. But its pretty close, and as in VR you can't really see Bump maps anyway, it looks perfect in VR.
As mentioned above, I didn't use any of the provided OBJ's on the site, I just created ones from the characters I wanted the textures for. I'd recommend the same, as the way this plugin hacks VaM, and the fact we are plastering two UV's on top of one another, it will almost never look 100% as a universal texture because of changing morphs.
If you need help with Blender, I used the guide below as my primary way to learn what to do. It's practically the same process, just you are applying the gen texture to both the male and female gens.
This guide was made with Blender 3.3 I use Linux so some screenshots may differ slightly, I Apologize for any confusion caused by this. But it shouldn't be any different. This assumes you already have Textures. If you want to convert a set of...
