Once again, I've hit a creative roadblock with my current "big" scene.

As some of you might remember, I started a project around October using my Astrid look, and was planning to release by Halloween.

Unfortunately, real life got in the way, and I've only been able to work intermittently on that scene since. After Halloween came and went, it's been really tough to find creative motivation for a creepy/scary scene, so a few weeks ago I started tinkering with something else. This scene is a result of my animator's block.

There's nothing too fancy here. You might recognize this position and lighting as similar to others that I've done, like Patricia DFC and Panic Room.

I've gone with a shorter song again, since this was technically a "side project," and it's another banger from the "Phonk" genre, as found in Hanna's Side Ride.

Another casualty of this being a side project is a little less polish. I'm not super happy with a few of the animation transitions, there's a lot of risk for popout throughout the scene, and you won't find a cinematic camera here.

All of that said, I'm happy enough with the overall result.

I absolutely LOVE Damarmau's Lana look, and as usual, I've made some tweaks to get her closer to my personal taste. I've had decent success with loading other looks here, but your mileage may vary.

Note the instructions that direct you to use the "Default" button when loading other looks. Macgruber's Life plugin has several parts and likes to load defaults when loading a new look. I'm not using Gaze so it really messes up some animations. Lana is also 0.92 scaled in this scene, so a new look loaded at full scale will absolutely not work.

Directions

As with most of the stuff I do, this has a few settings that work best on my rig, but may be different on yours. I have a 60hz physics rate and a physics update cap of 3. I tried to keep the lighting simple, so you will only need a 3 pixel light count for the lighting to work properly. Embody/POV is on the right Ctrl key. The rest is pretty straight forward: Start and Stop buttons, a couple of sliders for breath and music volume, the default button not only resets sliders to default, but also sets the scale of the model to 0.92, and disables a couple of things in the Life plugin that I am not using. Use the default button after loading any custom looks, or the scene's animation will not line up properly.

Credits
  • As always, thank you to AcidBubbles for Timeline and Collider Editor. I can't animate without the former, and it looks shit without the latter. Embody also brings quality POV to the masses.
  • Thank you to ClockwiseSilver for the Expression Tool, and AshAuryn for Sexpressions/Expressions/Pose Tools. I've been told that I need more facial emotion in my scenes, and these plugins made that easy to implement.
  • Thanks to MacGruber for the Life plugin. I usually also have PostMagic in here, but this being a simpler scene, I didn't end up using it.
  • Hunting-Succubus still has a "Paid Content" license on their Enhanced Eyes, despite it being free on the Hub. Empty, dead eyes begone!
  • NoStage3 provided the Short Wavy Hair that I used here. One of the few small changes to...
  • ...Damarmau's INCREDIBLE Lana Look. There are a lot of good looks available, but I'm starting to think Damarmau just gets me!
  • The audio track is a song called "Motion" by the Russian artist DVRST. His stuff is somewhere between the EDM and Phonk genres. Some people call it "Drift Phonk." Highly recommended stuff.
  • The cum effects are a combination of WeebUVR's Cum Clothing, Molmark's Drips and Drops, and hazmhox's Fluids 101. WeebUVR also has a couple of morphs in here from Morphs repack
  • The wet dick effect comes from Spacedog's Wet Bits.
  • The Alter3go Body Freckles are what make this a CC BY-NC-ND license. Sorry folks, I don't make the rules!
  • My buddy Attom always rocks the latest kemenate beard from their Modular Beard Pack, since he's one hip SOB.
  • My jam in VAM animation is timing motion to music. That simply doesn't happen easily (at all?) without LFE's Soundtrack Sync.
  • And finally, it probably doesn't get mentioned often enough: Macgruber's Supershot from Essentials is a fantastic plugin that's usually removed from scenes so likely isn't getting credit for near as many awesome screenshots as it should. Hat's off for this awesome, underappreciated utility.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, please notify me if I've missed anybody are attributes incorrectly. I can create free scenes only because of the hard work of the awesome content and plugin creators above, and I work hard to make sure I credit everyone properly!

Seriously, teach me how to animate. xD

Something like this is actually a really good place to start. Cowgirl and missionary are really the easiest positions to animate, I think, once you figure out the basics. I may not be much of a teacher, but I am certainly willing to show anyone my process.

I wish everyone made quality scenes like this one

There is a lot of good content out there, but I truly appreciate the compliment!

Very nice scene. I'm gay so I swapped out the girl for a guy and it still works pretty good. I might need to add a plugin to get the bottom guys dick into the tops ass.

I'm glad it worked for you! I definitely recommend Divining Rod for the plugin. I'm pretty sure it has a male option and targeting! https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/diviningrod.8992/

Your scenes are just perfect. Now you have a new supporter on Patreon ;)

Thank you so much! I wish I could release content faster, it's just time-consuming to build and real-life always gets its say, unfortunately.

This one's good! Love the rapid hip movement :)

Thank you! Quick hip movements with a lot of physics processing can really slow down a scene, so I'm glad it worked out well here. I still need to go back and try to improve the performance in Mr. Sandman!

definitely one of the best cowgirl scenes, even better than most (if not all) mocap scenes I have seen. Perfect for immersion.

Thank you! I'm sure it's obvious by now that cowgirl is on of my favorite positions to work with! I'm glad you enjoyed the scene!

Just finished this scene for about the 100th time and I realized that it only has 6 ratings so I thought I'd add another. Like his other work, this scene is a fantastic use of the medium. He gets positioning and model movement in a way that few other creators seem to grasp and the result is a thoroughly entrancing experience. I just wish it were about 100 times longer!

Thank you! Timing everything to the beat of music is the main reason my scenes are so short. It takes a lot of small Timeline dots to make it all work right, which unfortunately is pretty time consuming. I've considered finding a small collection of songs that are all timed similarly (say, three songs all with a solid, recognizable 4/4 beat) and then putting together an animation that will keep looping and playing music until you choose to finish it. Maybe when I finish my current project (soon, thanks to (SaiVaM for getting me access to their Mirror's Edge Apartment resource's .obj files!) I will finally try and give that project a go.

Anyway, that's why the scenes are so short, currently. I am always looking for ways to change that without melting my mind of animating myself into a corner.
