Hey there,

Every time I save a scene, the animation patterns reset to Step 1 instead of staying where they are at the time of saving.

Anyone one know a work around this? If its even possible.

Thanks!

You can set the control point affected to "lock".

Thanks for replying Atani.

Ok, I think I should have been more specific, so my bad...

This is a bit complicated, I'll try to explain.

I'm trying to set up sliders to better move the atom (Up-Down Left-Right)

So I have 1 animation pattern moving the Atom Control Left and Right
Then I have an other one moving the 1st animation pattern Up and Down, which in turn moves the Atom as well.

So I set them each with 2 steps, both for maximum and minimum distance.
The default is when the animation patterns' time is in the middle, but not in an actual step.

That middle is where I want the atom to be from the start.

Can this still work with the "lock"? And if so, where should I lock it?

The lock will probably not work based on the expanded description.

So, one AP is for left-right movement and another is a parent AP that gives the first one up-down movement? This would give a area for positioning and you want the default to be in the center of that area?
Don't know really, would have to play around and test for options.
Why can't you make a 3rd step with the first one in the middle?

That would work yes, and its what I did in my first big project, was trying to avoid that "3rd step"
I think It will have to make due :cautious:

Its just weird cause you have to move them one direction before moving the other.

I'll see what I can come up with, thanks for the help (y)

PS: My new loop room will come out with this options, if you want to give that a shot let me know what you find

I think I found a compromise between 3 AP steps and the slider system I wanted

So now it actually has 4 steps and 2 sliders
Step 1 - Center 0s
Step 2 - Far Left 1s
Step 3 - Center again 2s
Step 3 - Far Right 3s

Slider Left - Goes from 0s to 1s
Slider Right - Goes from 2s to 3s

Same process for Up and Down

I'll ping you when I release a new scene if you're interested
