Hi bqbq

I tried this plugin on Hen's Room, which contains a built in Ventilator sound.

But nothing happens, when i move the Volume slider, the volume always remains the same.

I just loaded the Room to a CUA and added the Plugin to its Plugin Tab.

Any Idea why this doesn't work?

I'm not the creator of the plugin, so I can't give you a definitive answer, but it works well.
I just downloaded the background and checked it myself.
The plugin only works if it's directly applied to the asset.

If you're trying to amplify the sound, this won't do it — the plugin is designed to reduce volume.

If you still want to boost the sound, your only option might be to use it together with the Master Volume plugin: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/mastervolume.39749/.
Just keep in mind that using it will require you to manually adjust the volume of other audio sources, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Thanks for your reply bqbq

Sometimes I don't know whats going on.

Yesterday I directly applied your Plugin to the Plugin Tab of the Asset and when I turned the slider down, nothing happened.

A minute ago i tried it again, and when I turned down the slider, it lowered the volume as it should...
Very very strange

But now i know, that it works ;)
Thanks for trying also 🙏

I meanwhile also found the Unique CUA Plugins from trety, which can also turn of the Volume of an Asset.

I just wanted to get that ventilator sound away 😅

Thanks for the tip of the Master Volume Plugin, a useful plugin too, that I didn't know about (y)
