  • Hello AshAuryn, when do you plan to activate subscriptions on Patreon? I would like to subscribe.

Thank you! I have currently paused subscriptions until I can devote enough time to justify charging my subscribers. A date is TBD.

My subscriber content is now available for free on the Hub. Cheers!

That's mighty big of you. Thanks!

I understand your ambivalence. I do have thoughts about the current state of how things are monetized and ideas on how to vastly improve the situation for all, but I'm holding on to them until I'm more acquainted with the community and VaM itself. Don't want to be the bulldozer that barges in unannounced ;)
TLDR; I am considering switching to an early-access content model. Current Patrons can vote in the new poll by following this link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/considering-77593625

If we made this change, early-access content would be marked for release on two-month intervals, and some paid content older than 2 months would switch to free on the Hub. I would still release patrons-only content that is not early-access, including experimental content such as looks, animations, assets and poses. In addition, I will be opening a second tier for requests.

Why am I considering this change?

Even before the creation of the Hub, there was negative feedback from the community about paid content. Creative communities by their nature should be free in order to promote creativity. My most popular content is still my free content, even though it is outdated by a few years (and as a creator this is both gratifying and frustrating). Even though my paid content is released on a creative license that allows reuse, my packages cannot be referenced as dependencies and so any morphs have to be manually included which creates duplicates.

My Patreon exists because it takes a lot of time and work to create new content (the most recent update to Sexpressions took over 20 hours of work). I do need the support of my Patrons to allow me to continue. It would be heartbreaking to lose my subscribers because I chose to give more to the community. I will not make this decision without sufficient feedback from my Patrons.

I would also like feedback from the community here on the Hub, so please feel free to provide opinions or advice in the comments!

Well, if you make it free it can become part of many new resources in the hub. This increases the use and maybe more chances to advertise your Patreon?
It has come to my attention that an update to my legacy sexpressions pack is causing errors when loading content that references those expressions. I am working on a fix and an update will be released to address those issues.
Actually back! I will be releasing new morphs within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for a new patreon and website!
