Hi everyone,

I'm using the Timeline plugin to make an animation, and I'm wondering if there's an easier way to do something like this.

I have a character in a specific pose, and I want to keep the pose exactly the same while rotating the whole character, basically like rotating a posed doll. For example, I want the character to turn around while keeping the arms, legs, head, etc. in the same relative pose.

With Timeline, it seems like I would need to keyframe the rotation of every individual joint, which is quite tedious.

Is there a better way to achieve this? Maybe by rotating a parent/root control, or using another plugin or feature that allows the whole posed character to rotate as one object while preserving the pose?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You could just animate/rotate the control node of your atom. You could also use Rigify with the extended options for some nodes so you can pose the whole character. Also, there is a rotator plugin:
