Collider Editor

Plugins + Scripts Collider Editor

Hey bubs. Scanned through the discussion and I didn't see this reported.

After saving a collider preset, the scene browser is unable to access any files without resetting VAM completely.
I noticed this ages ago but never bothered. With typical VAM load times, resetting can be a chore.

Wondering if this is a known issue with no fix, or if there is any workaround without resetting. Thx.

Heya.
Big thanks, Acid Bubbles, for the amazing plugin.

Question: is it possible to make the load preset from the editor itself "visible" to vam triggers?

I've tested a manual load using the plugin presets tab during an animation, but it introduces a small delay, even with merge load and/or preset overlay.
Doing it via load preset from the collider editor itself works instantaneously.

Apparently preset overlays and/or merge load simply loads another instance of a plugin, if that same plugin is already loaded, so the delay was being caused by making copies of collider editor.

I managed to make it work in the end: load two instances of collider editor (each with diferent collider configs) into a person atom and turn them on and off via triggers, according to animation requirements.
It's a janky solution, but it works.

Hi. I searched but didn't find any questions on this issue here and I didn't find anything similar on Trello either.

It is difficult to determine the cause of the occurrence. Сylinder appears when the preview is turned on, but even before it is clear that something is wrong with the head collision problems. This can be seen from the hair, which sticks out unnaturally when loading the appearance preset. After turning on the preview, you can see that some colliders on the head are located differently (possibly due to the scale of the preset being loaded), colliders can be easily rearranged or the plugin preset can be loaded. And in general, you can safely continue playing. But this ridiculous cylinder spoils the whole picture, and it cannot be moved or removed. By the way, cylinder has a collision, and also appears in a strictly defined place. After cylinder appears, when you turn on the atom, an error message appears. Сylinder does not disappear when you reboot the plugin or do any manipulations with the game settings. Only a hard reset and turning off the game helps. This bug has existed for a long time and manifests itself quite randomly.
I personally already hate this cylinder and want not only a solution to this problem but also answers.
