I understand where you're coming from, but, just like artwork and drawings the saying art is subjective has meaning(yes, sometimes to excuse bad stuff lol... or maybe most times).
What will one say to someone that has a style of ugly looks and bad proportions and with users that actually like such. Isn't that creator creating for them and not for you. People have their own markets creating their own styles that may evolve or not.
The human body isn't produced in a factory or by using a casting mold. If someone takes a look of your posted image and say it's lame face is too round breast is too small/big, she's not sexy, yet, another says it's awesome because she looks like a real person reminding them of someone they saw and thought that person was attractive. Who's in the right? To each his own and let it not grieve you in any way. You do you and they do likewise.
But hey, they "may" grow becoming better.

If you want to give someone an advice what they could make better write a private message to them, I doubt that there are many. But don't wonder if someone don't want your help. Or make a tutorial that is showing the hints.

Each posted var has a discussion section and there's the rating post also. I actually saw someone rate a scene one star and commented "it is just what it looks like". The creator replied "It's that bad huh". So you can freely express yourself with commenting or giving advice yet we have to be respectful.

But honestly, I think parents are failing to teach their children what they should share/show off.

Saying this another way: we live in a "The Voice" (or anything similar) society, where if you're good at singing in your shower, then you should definitely go and try being a singer. This is wrong. People should understand what is good or not, and what is worth showing off or not.

Internet is a huge place and has thousands upon thousands of tutorials and people sharing knowledge about art, anatomy, and all sorts of artistic skills. Everything is at your fingertips to be able to learn AND weigh if your work is worth showing or not.

If you are "blind" to the qualities of your work, then try using chats like Discord to get advices and feedback before you publish your work.

The hub is "final". I'm not saying people should be disrespectful, in the contrary. But you're on a plateform that people are connecting to to find a finished product, and most of the time, something really appealing.

I think that an artist that hesitate to publish is right. Publish when it's ready, publish when you know it's good. Publish when you know/are sure of the qualities of your work. This is something you can learn, and parents should teach to their kids : )

In general (not only vam), if everyone was doing that, we would have a higher quality overall.

While that feels right for a lot of people there are also others who should not be the target audience of your advice: those with perfectionism or impostor syndrome. To those I would say: publish and share your stuff!

I'm not sure about that. Knowing (or not knowing) about their own quality could be part of the problem ... or the core.
And I'm not talking about those who use the words ("perfectionism" or "impostor syndrome") just because they're somehow trendy. I'm talking about those who really struggle with these problems.

I have both, mostly why some of my scenes are yet to be released. And impostor syndrom is not often tied to "not releasing"... but more people thinking their released work is crap even if it's like A or S-Tier.

I suspect there are less people being perfectionists or have impostor syndrom that do not release. Than there is people having the dunning kruger syndrom and releasing a shit ton of average looking content.

That said, if I can give an advice: surround yourself with positive and nice people. Even if you're just starting. They can share knowledge, help out and probably lift you up when you're not sure about something you created.

Never ever "worship" an artist, try getting in touch, you have nothing to lose besides getting a "no I don't have time" (and possibly "fuck off", but that means they are probably not worth your time and energy). I met the coolest people by simply reaching out to people in this community and this ended up with cool friendship and really nice content through collabs.

Cool people are making you better, and help you figure out where you're standing.

Ok, sry I think it was another post about a new patreon. Yes, I'm really sick actually but discussing about third like this is the wrong way. And I thought "go ahead" means "leave". My bad and I need to sorry.

To the discussion itself. Spamming low quality posts is not good but some low quality posts inspire other to do it better or discover new franchises. You can also edit the download to your likes. If someone would daily spam skibidi toilets (don't google it) I could understand it. And here we stuck in tastes.

Do we need a quality police?
Are we going to make a new discussion everytime a new user is posting low quality?

Or just say it directly to the user by staying polite and empathic?
How much bad posts can you make?
And what exactly is bad quality?
Can I see it at no downloads or no stars? No

If you think that someone is making bad quality and be bothered by this, then you should first clear this with the person and don't shame them in another thread.

There is a very helpful feature on the Hub that was designed to help you when there are certain creators that you don't want to view on the Hub. This is called the "ignore" feature. When you click on the profile for the creator that you want to ignore, you will see buttons such as "Follow," "Ignore," and "Start Conversation." If you click on the ignore button, then you will no longer see that creator's context on the Hub for their media posts or any other posts. You can basically filter it out yourself. So, there is no reason for community level filtering.
