ODE TO THE NAMELESS MARTYR

What It Is
Here's another entry in my series of dioramas I set up for taking photos of my models. This one is very simple. I put it together to get that immersive, sinking, dreamy feeling. I wanted it to be moody and atmospheric to invoke a melancholic emotion. Someone requested I release it on the Discord, so I've added a few more small features for release.
This scene's meant for taking underwater photos. Lots of bubbles, particles, godrays, and foggy lights. I simulated some caustic lighting by using a texture on LFE's LightTexture plugin, and water floating with a cycle force—I'm pretty happy with the result. For additional effect, I included sounds and the music track I was listening to that inspired me to build it, and a simple orbiting camera.
Examples
Notes
- First and foremost, I included a music volume slider, in case the music isn't your jam, or if you simply want to hear the looping water sounds.
- The Enable POV button attaches to a camride that simply orbits the model. Hit the ESC key or open the UI to take back control.
- Sway Power increases and decreases how turbulent the water is for the model, and showcases the physics and spring settings I've tuned.
- I set this up originally for a male model to float, and then adjusted it for the default gen 2 female. You shouldn't have issues swapping with any appearance that you want, but note that physics might not behave entirely as expected.
Credits
The resources used in the scene below are linked directly, so look for them in the credits section below the description:
MacGruber - Post processing effects
LFE - LightTexture plugin used for caustic effect.
Captain Varghoss - VamRotator plugin used to control several atoms in the scene.
DragonPhantom - The surrounding particle effects that initially inspired the look of this scene.
WgSoup - WindControl plugin to cause hair and clothing to drift upward.
PluginIdea - HPVL plugin for all of my volumetric lighting needs.
Farger - Extra bubble particle effects surrounding the model.
everlaster - FloatParamRandomizer to make the cycle forces look less robotic.
AcidBubbles - Embody and SpawnPoint for quality of life.
