On the desktop I get 300 to 350 FPS
I go in VR with virtual desktop and quest 3 is capped at 90FPS with passthrough.
It does get 90FPS in VAM but as soon as I look at any characters face it drops to steady 45fps every single time no matter the hair settings as well.

Anyone have any ideas for to keep it near 90FPS? Virtual desktop wont let me choose 120FPS with passthrough.

This is just with one character on the screen, no other objects or models. Just a Girl standing in space.

My PC
GTX 4090
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Possibly you need to turn off SSW in the VD settings.
Also, passthrough is limited to 90 Hz if I recall well the info in the VD preferences.

Ill look for the SSW option. It just I can look at anything else besides the girls face and it stays near 90. As soon as I look anywhere near the face the PFS instantly gets cut in half. If I try to record within the quest 3 virtual desktop option the lag even gets worse.

If you didn't already find it, there's a debug tool for the occulus/meta headsets where you need to deactivate spacewarp.
