Anyone know how to stop the game menu from popping up when youre using hand tracking? If I make like a pinching or grabbing motion when my hand is upright it opens the menu in play mode. I hate it and I have to pinch or do a grab motion to close it.

As mentioned, don't make your hand upright

Oh I just realized you're on the wrong guide, read my other hand tracking guide it goes into a lot of details
I read them all. No matter what I change when I make a grabbing or pinching motion with my hands straight out it brings up or closes the game menu. I never did that before and I didnt even change anything. I hate it it runs the immersion.

You're not following it right then, because my menu only triggers when you hold it for a few seconds

It's a shame, but Quest will use alxr-client-quest.apk is not on the list.

It's there, it's called alxr-client.apk for ANY android headsets (Quest included)

Hi. Slightly off-topic question, what's the blonde pony-tail look you have here? Is this obtainable publicly?

On making parts of your male character passthrough, you can modify the brilliant Damarmau's Emily Cyberware, which he made compatible with futa, and combine it with the emissive clothing plugin from blazedust (along with some character transparency tweaks if you wish) and you get much better results than if you just skin the male in your passthrough color.

As some have mentioned in this discussion, the issue is that with lighting and shadows, the skin falls too far off the passthrough RGB number and is no longer passthrough. If you use a geoshell (like Damarmau's) and make it emissive, it's largely unaffected by lighting and doesn't have shadows cast on it, so it becomes pure passthrough.

I may throw together a .var that packages all the textures and plugin presets, but in general if you look into how other emissive clothing works, you can navigate your way well enough. On the blazedust plugin, I turn the color alpha and the alpha multiplier up to 4.0, which in desktop mode makes it look like a different color than the one you set in your clothing texture, but in VR it all comes good and the results are spectacular.

yeah go ahead and make one for the male and we can see how it looks

Just got a Quest 3, this guide was the first thing I open to enable the passthrought. I'm using Virtual Desktop. I choose green color for the background (0,255,0). While it is working fine, I have an annoying green border around the look.

What am I missing ?
I didn't do exactly the same step.

1. launch Virtual Desktop Streamer on my PC
2. launch Virtual Desktop on my Quest 3
3. launch VaM with OpenVR from a .bat file

I'm now in VaM in VR and the passthrough is enabled.

PS: Nevermind, I just modify the color and put one you recommend.
A) Blue (0, 71, 187) Similarity 20%, Smoothness 3% - Works on most, easy to use

And it is far better. The border around the look is still present but it is very subtle.
