VAM doesn't even detect the file. Could be something on my end but the downloaded file can't even be added.

Then I assume you didn't download the .var package correctly or you placed it in the wrong place. Maybe you're new to VAM based on your recently created account too and doesn't know how to actually install plugins.

Make sure you have a compatible version of VAM.
Place the downloaded .var file in your VAM/AddonPackages folder.
If you have VAM running, restart VAM in order to detect any new .var packages.
Follow the installation instructions in the description if you did the 2 steps above correctly.

If you are a user who uses assets on figures constantly, this is an essential must have plugin. Great functionality and easy to use. If it was up to me, I would add it as an extension of VaM.

v.18 Requires VAM 1.22.0.0 or later! If you're using an older version download v.17 from the history tab instead.

This is a great plugin, I have a ton of characters with asset parts and it's now a breeze to put them in any scene I want without all the hassle of lining up and re-attaching the assets every time.

Not working with the most current version of vam.

I get this comment all the time.

This plugin requires VAM 1.22.0.0 or later!

If you're still using VaM 1.20.77 download the older version v.17 from the history tab instead or you will get the following error:
"Type `SuperController' does not contain a definition for `MainHUDVisible' and no extension method `MainHUDVisible' of type `SuperController' could be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?"

I added this as the first information on the plugin description page now.

Compensating for the previous low rating and confirm it does work perfectly with the latest VaM version.

the plugin works well with most of the models i have but for one of them, it would only load the hair part of the model and not the other custom unity assets.

Essential plugin for me. Prior to VaM 1.2, this was the most comprehensive way of comfortably storing/loading atoms at positions & orientations relative to bodynodes - mostly because VaM's 'save preset' options didn't offer more than rudimentary functionality for some atom types. Still not sure that the new SubScene atom will replace CUAM for me.

I also like the thoughtful way the GUI is set up wrt handling linked atom's storables.

One thing I'd very much like to see in (possible) future CUAM versions is the ability to store/reload groups of atoms (i.e. a parent atom with its children), with the parent atom's position & orientation relative to the bodynode it is linked to determining the position & orientation of the other atoms in the group. This would be particularly usefull for animation patterns and their associated animation steps.

CUAManager version 1.7 adds support for SubScene atomtypes (enable them first in the options). I don't know if that's exactly what you're looking for but I have found some use cases for myself for SubScenes with this plugin.
