@Clocksmith Nice. As soon as I started reading your latest posts I thought the arm colliders are probably to blame. However this still doesn't explain why Lilith had an issue even after disabling collision on the atom?
I don't want to spend a lot of time investigating why it doesn't go away when collision is turned off but looking at the xShldr colliders, I can tell you it is the exact same problem:

This setting adjusts the accuracy of pectoral/glute joint and hard collider physics. You can have more accurate physics on the breasts and glutes than the rest of the body and the overall scene. Thanks to @Dombl for the idea!
  • 1 is equivalent to having High Quality Physics disabled in VAM User Preferences.
  • 5 is equivalent to having High Quality Physics enabled.

Well, I would say the current morphs aren't good enough to achieve realism, and there's not enough options for configuring how the morphing works. The current morphs just approximate the sort of thing that happens when leaning back, but are not actually producing a realistic change in shape. I think the biggest issue is the lack of smooth curvature around the base. This and improving the configurability of the morphing system are things I'm looking into later on in v1.3 development.

Playing with angle limits and hard collider adjustments in the betas leading up to this (I preferred version 47 over 48, not exactly sure what was different but is what it is) has been amazing. At first it seems tedious and overwhelming but once you start copping a feel on how each parameter subtly changes things, it's great and adjustments go by way faster. Combining all this with clothing settings and it all just works like a dream.

How can anyone predominantly focused on looking at female looks use VaM without Naturalis at this point? It's simply the #1 plugin for jiggly fun.

  • Hard collider friction no longer goes all the way to zero when using adaptive friction and high skin gloss. (This is how it worked in v1.1 as well)
  • Triggering memory optimization (in VAM user preferences) deactivates on-demand loaded package morphs. Previously this caused morphing to stop working, but now the plugin reactivates those morphs if they are not active.
  • Fixed error when plugin was disabled and another scene was loaded where the person had different atom scale...

Soft physics mesh pressure

Mesh pressure expands soft physics mesh as soft joints are pushed towards the center of the mesh. It automatically compensates for volume loss in collisions by physically expanding the soft physics mesh.

It's very performant, there's barely any effect on frame rate.

Calibration result caching

When a matching result is found in the cache, the calibration finishes quickly. It still needs to freeze the scene and load the calibration pose briefly, however, because finding a matching calibration result is done based on the actual physical breast/glute shape. Apart from that, matching is done based on relevant plugin parameters and other settings, so you will accumulate cached results for all kinds of different combinations of plugin...

The calibration cache implementation uses a lot of memory (hundreds of MB), most likely due to file reads and writes, even though the files themselves are very small. This memory would normally be freed up at some point automatically (by the C# runtime's garbage collector)...

Yes, you can add it to any scene. It goes on the Person atom.

There's no single trailer for v1.3, but there are some videos showcasing specific features in the updates section.

Which video specifically? The latest ones are .ogv videos which should work (and do work for me) both in the Hub browser within VAM and in desktop/mobile browsers. The videos that I was referring to in the post you quoted were .mp4 which don't work within VAM.

Does it give you some error message, like "unsupported MIME format" or something?

What browser are you using, and does it work in a different browser?
