VAMMoan

Plugins + Scripts VAMMoan

The breathing rythm is based on the sound itself. The base idle behavior is slow and steady. So what you're saying you have, is not the default behavior.

@hazmhox, you have basically answered my question: if the rythm is based on the sound and we have only one male sound in VAMMoan, it's obvious I can't make it faster or slower. Fair enough, I just thought I've overlooked a slider or other way to regulate it.

Here is the video anyway:

For me it's a little bit too fast for an idle character, but it's matter of taste. Finally VAM has been invented to simulate rather more active characters :), not someone just sitting and doing nothing.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Augment the pause if you want : )
It'll slightly push the delay between each sound.

getting this odd error
Error during attempt to load assetbundle hazmhox.vammoan.20:/Custom/Scripts/VAMMoan/audio/voices.voicebundle. Not valid
!> Error during attempt to load assetbundle hazmhox.vammoan.20:/Custom/Scripts/VAMMoan/audio/voices-shared.voicebundle. Not valid

What could cause the moans being very quiet in a scene? Voice Volume is all the way up. Spatialization is default. Also noticed mouth movements is minimal. Set morphs to default. No luck

Edit: Found it. Disabling the environment turns it to normal. Lmao WTF?!

Whaaaaaaaaat?

HO FUCK. I think I know why. That enviro might have a camera in it, and shifts the listener.

Try loading that even, let it at the 0.0.0 position. Add an audiosource and put like a song on it in loop mode. Then try to move the enviro away.
If you hear the sound moving then that's the reason.

Yep, moving around and changing scale increases the volume. First time seing this :D

That's a technical issue in vam's implementation.

If you prefer, you can't have two listeners in a scene. (which is on the camera)
If you don't prevent this from happening ( by let's say, detect unwanted cameras and remove them or disable them ), the "scene/asset" camera takes over the listener, and your sound is broken.

Tip to prevent this from the enviro : use DLUtils, locate the cam, disable it, the player/VR listener camera should then take over.

In case you're wondering what the issue is @LDR

Thanks, I’ll try it later.

Hi
I'm experiencing strange issue most probably caused by a Video Renderer plugin but it affects VamMoan so here I am.
In the scene "Virtual Sweetheart", I added an Empty, loaded the Renderer plugin (.cslist).
At that point, VamMoan breaks and the girls mouth no longer opens with moans.
All the other animations work (talking etc.) but se moans with her mouth closed.
I was trying to find the issue for hours but really have no clue how to fix that.
The think is, it will break this across other Virtual Sweetheart scenes although they don't have the Renderer loaded in them.
The only think that gets rid of the issue is to override/re-copy the scene file and repair all the VAM files via the updater.
Once I load the renderer again, it breaks it again

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

If a scene works properly without editing it, it means everything is fine on your end. If it fails/breaks after editing it, it means either what you're doing is wrong OR the edits are breaking proper plugin/scripting behavior.
The "repair vam files" move is probably a false positive, as there is litterally no way that a plugin could break VAM files unless the creator made a really bad choice design wise ( but honestly, I don't think any plugin ever did that ).

The core problem is you loading the renderer plugin.
So the solution here is to ask for support on that renderer plugin as VAMM is only outputting audio to the character audio source, nothing fancy, nothing crazy... just plain audio playback. So the renderer plugin is at fault here.
