So I bout VAM recently and have been crashing before i could even get past the first launch screen. These are the events that generally happen: I open VAM in desktop mode, it starts as a black screen as everything seems to load, I then see the first launch screen and then after a few seconds VAM just freezes and stops responding. I also launched VAM with the task manager on a separate monitor and I noticed the crash handler launched alongside VAM, and I don't know unity well enough to know if the crash handler just runs while VAM is running or if it only runs if a crash is detected. I don't believe I have any background applications that would cause the crash, especially since I'm trying to just launch desktop mode.

VAM crashes on launch.

You need to share more useful information to get any idea of what may be happening there.
What's your system like? In what folder is VaM? Did you try running a core check with vam_updater.exe?

I run on windows 11, and VAM is in it's own folder on my C drive. I just ran a core check and it passed on the main application but failed on the VAMX addon. I repaired the addon and then relaunched VAM and it crashed again. The only other info on my system that could possibly affect it is that I use a AMD 7900XTX and an Intel 13th gen i7, which should be more than enough for VAM to run properly.
