I started tagging stuff but there's no way everyone will tag things, and since it's a very different type of media, I believe it warrants their own categories.

Is the filter sufficient? Most likely items that are embed type are videos:

I don't think I can actually control what the external embed is. I can only control the sites (which does control a bit).

I admit it is a bit confusing because Videos is one of the filter options and that comes up empty because I don't allow Video uploads. I think I can easily remove that from the filter list though.

It really depends what you want the media section to be. A small porn site or a place to show up creations?

Well if it's a porn site, that means authors generate revenue, eventually ads to support traffic that are not interested in subscribing to Patreon, and a structure for consumption (so prioritize finding what you're looking for).

If it's a site to show off creations and encourage VaM usage, we want to prioritize discovery, credits, etc. and the categories can be broader.

There will be both porn and showing off, but one must be prioritized over the other. I guess in any case I'd expect videos and galleries to be separated but that's my intuition, I don't have actual arguments.

By the way @meshedvr do you want to restrict content to vam generated stuff?

I don't plan on running ads here ever. So I would like to keep the site entirely VaM focused. I'm not entirely sure how I want the Media section to be utilized. It is kind of an experiment at the moment. I was thinking of it like the Screenshots channel on Discord as a start, with some simple categories to distinguish content.
