I've been using VAM for around a month now as a welcome distraction to lockdown with work a long, long way from home. Once I got past the 'sex' stuff I have become fascinated by creating models by morphing many of the great creations from creators on here - some of my efforts are in the general media section - I try and strive for 'realistic' looking models with patchy success. Now I have a handle on how most things work, I spend my time importing dance MoCaps and setting them to some great tunes, adjusting animation speed etc. and using LUT, particle effects (the guys that created these are geniuses) and great lighting rigs to create 'dance videos' of these wonderful creations gyrating to the music - far sexier (in my opinion only) than many 'sex' scenes I have come across - no disrespect to their creators, I can see how much work has gone into them, they just don't do much for me. Maybe I'm biased as I do all my work in VR and have a reasonably specced machine (an rtx 2070 laptop) that can handle the effects very well. The results are just stunning in VR - I can't wait for even more performance and realism in VAM 2.0. So, I suppose my question is... does anyone else do the same?

Similar situation here. I find clothing more erotic and situations where you can look but dont touch, specially if there is voyeuristic element.
And while it was fun to see what VAM is capable off when it comes to raw sex scenes, I too found the novelty wore off real quick. Pretty much my attitude to porn in general tbh. In fact.... you've just give me and idea....... ta.

I've been using VaM since the beginning, and have found that what i use it for constantly changes. It's allowed me to investigate aspects of my sexuality and explore fantasies that i never even knew were there. It continues to be an education.

It's like groinc just said. You get an idea, just run with it, and see where it ends up.

Like DJ said: I wake up or meet a nice looking girl, I have an sudden idea that turns me on... and I recreate the look or the dream scene in VaM. Most of the time it is about the look and this is still my biggest interest in VaM, but also it is about clothes, hair styles, scene building and environments... the full package. So I spend my time with learning new stuff and doing things I wouln't ever have thought of doing. This is VaM to me.

And of course erotic is not all about nudity and the raw "act" itselfe... it is much abot the right environments, situations and clothes, aso, too. For instance, a girl in a bikini is nothing special on the beach, but if you will meet her in your usual supermarket ... ;)

To answer the starting question: Before VaM came out, I had installed MMD which is mainly about dancing... in VR it was looking great (at that time) and seeing a artificial girl in well made motion makes her looks so much more realistic... this is the same in VaM. Good animations makes your model look alive. Between all the great animations we now have and all the free BHV packages, dancing is one of the most complexe and therefore most amazing stuff.
I definitely wouldn't say I am mostly turned on by dancing models, but some of my most erotic personal scenes are with dancing and lots of visual efects.
