I'm not sure if it's possible to import HDRI files to VAM, if not:
Is there a similar way I can do such thing? or if there is a plugin?

Any step-by-step instruction will be very appreciated, thanks ahead! ?

Make a sphere in unity 500x500x500, turn off colliders and put the hdri on as a material/panoramic. Then make a assetbundle for VAM

I never used Unity before, is it possible to do the same in Blender and somehow convert to VAM?

Also, any specific example from the hub to try out so I cansee how it works for start?
I didn't find any HDRI related that's why I asked here.

Thanks ahead!

If your gonna use VAM you need Unity 2018 to build any asset, i also use blender to fix stuff the into unity. By HDRI do you mean skyboxes

I've tried to look how to add these skyboxes, I didn't find any Skybox atom or anything similar maybe I missed it?

Can somebody please explain step-by-step how do I import these HDRI to my VAM scene?

Thanks ahead! ?

Just stumbled upon this thread...
It's an old one, i know, but maybe for someone else looking by ;)

If you want to import a HDRI into VAM directly, without Unity
there's this excellent Plugin, that does the job...

Edit: As far as i figured out, it has to be a png file, jpg didn't work on me.

I recommend to use SkyMagic plugin to get the GI lighting in VaM right.
Follow this tutorial...its a bit cumbersome multi-step process of going through Unity, to VaM, back to Unity and VaM again, but worth it:

Thank you MacGruber

Picture to skybox is just comfortable for me, because it's quick an i can load any HDRI Image without using Unity.

But you are certainly right when you say that GI is better with Skymagic.
Will for sure have a look at it.
