Hello! First post here.
I've got my mocap system locked in to get good recordings all the way up until I'm in 3D Studio Max with the 3DS Biped moving around perfectly in sync with my motion capturing. But then, for the life of me (I've been trying for two days now), I cannot seem to figure out how to get from there to a properly rigged BVH file. Once I have the BVH file, I will be able to import it into VAM with any of the several BVH importing plugins. Anyone know the secret recipe for getting from the 3DS Biped to a properly rigged (Daz Genesis 2 Rig, I'm assuming) and exported BVH file ready for VAM import?

You can do it in motionbuilder, you have to retarget your biped animation to a genesis 2 body/skeleton, and export it as bvh file.
After that you will be able to import your resulted bvh file into vam
