Do you own a Quest 3 and Pico 4?

Hi, there.

I own a Pico 4 and make some decent use of passthrough with it in VaM, but I keep wondering about how the Quest 3 depth camera improves on the passthrough experience.

Do you own or experienced both the Quest 3 and Pico 4 passthrough capabilities in VaM? How do you compare the immersion and results between the headsets?

By chance I came across my own post from last year. Since then, I bought a Pico 4 ultra which has a depth sensor and much better passthrough RGB cameras, and the difference in passthrough experience quality is immense:

• With the depth sensor, everything feels almost like it's there, not anymore a skewed and easily out of scale gimmick.
• The RGB cameras are great with good lighting, but also quite decent in low light. With the upgraded cameras I can even use the computer, read my phone, and text comes very readable and sharp, no need to remove the headset.

While I did not have a chance to try a Quest 3, I think the Pico 4 ultra matched or surpassed the Q3 in passthrough quality experience. Maybe the only difference is finger tracking, that in VAM I'm not sure the Pico can do.
