Skynet submitted a new resource:

Clothing Sculpt - Sculpt clothing items directly inside vam!

-- Description:
- Inspired from blender's Sculpting, a plugin that allows you to sculpt clothing mesh in real-time inside vam, primarily made to edit & adjust clothing after import from daz/ blender if wrap doesn't turn out nice from first try. Avoiding the tedious going back & forth from on app to another.

-- How to use?
- Simply load the ClothingSculpt.cslist on a person atom, select the clothing you want and...

Skynet updated Clothing Sculpt with a new update entry:

update v2

-- New features & Improvements:
- Fixed Brush sphere falloff shape, now will affect also other sub meshes in the 3D sphere's proximity. (will not be limited to only affecting connected vertices)
- Added Rewrap scuplted Areas toggle, will rewrap sculpted clothing areas to current posed & morphed skin. this will allow clothing to deform correctly after major sculpting changes. (for example moving clothing in crotch area to the sides for an open crotch...

This is perfect. Any chance you could add a wire frame view so that changes to darker clothing can be easier to visualize?

that might not be a great idea as when while you're sculpting you want the clothing textures to be visible so you don't smear the texture mapping too much

I've tried to use this plugin to make bulges for AltFuta characters (in simulated female clothing, obviously), to no avail. If anyone has any success in making real bulges in female shorts or pants, I'll be glad to know. Another question about this plugin: is there any keyboard shortcut or something that I'm missing, in order to prevent body parts from being selected and accidentaly moved while using this plugin? Thank you so much!

Fantastic plugin , but for some reason saving doesn't work for me. When I press the 'save sculpted clothing' button, nothing happens. Same as 'Restore sculpted clothing' button.... Any ideas on what might be causing this?

you forgot to force reload the clothing item after saving/ restoring, please rewatch the preview clips

Hi, this is amazing plugin. may i ask if i understand correctly.

If i want to make persistant change so i can reuesed change cloth it must be cloth that is not in var files but extracted localy yes?

If i change some cloth it change that extracted cloth in its place. but if i have diffrent character with diffrent morph so changed cloth will still be deformed on that character. Is it not possible to automaticaly save cloth as copy? so i can have diff copy for diffrent person atom?

Hey Skynet, thanks again for the awesome plugin!
Here are the things I've noticed:
  1. The plugin doesn't work at all when FreezeMotion is enabled (no circle, no effect)
  2. You could suspend the plugin once its UITransform isn't enabled anymore. So people can do other stuff and come back to it later without having to worry about accidental edits.
  3. Maybe you could post a warning when a packaged item is selected (or even better an error that doesn't let you proceed). I've spent like 20min editing just to realize it isn't working like that (shame on me for not reading the description to the end). Maybe you could also create a local copy of that clothing programmatically if needed. I don't know how to do that right now but I could help you figure it out if you're up to it.
  4. Individual settings (especially strength) for the different brushes would be nice to have.
  5. I'd love a pinch brush.
  6. Inverse draw/inflate could be accessed through a hotkey, like Alt or Ctrl for example.
  7. It would be nice to have the smoothing brush always at hand through a hotkey, like in Blender. Alt or Ctrl maybe?
  8. Backface culling. Maybe hard to accomplish, but if you accidentally select a vert on the other side you mess up really quick whithout even noticing, especially because the circle disappears as soon as you start editing. Maybe a toggle if the circle should be hidden might help as well.
  9. Showing the wireframe, coloring the area that is modified would be dope.
Again, those are just my thoughts I had while testing. Don't feel pressured in any way, the plugin is more than I could have wished for already.
