I used to VamStory + HeadLightLink to pin the panel on the screen, like this screenshot. No matter how close it's with an atom, the pannel with all buttons are always on the top of the animation, never be blocked by anything.

But when I tried to create a new scene today, something very strange happened, like this screenshot.

The pannel never at the top, it can be penetrate by any atoms, yes these buttons are being blocked as well.

I checked all the settings of VamStory and HeadLightLink more than 10 times, delete and reinstalled these to plugins, reboot my computer, make the value of "Position Z adjustment" very low....still no clue what happened.....

I also noticed that the version of VamStory in my last scene is 28, now it's 35. So I deleted the new version and went back to 28, it still works like the second screenshot. The version of HeadLightLink in both scenes are 8. The parameter pannel on the left side of the screenshot belongs to HeadLightLink.

And I had activated this plugin once, TiSeb.Colortone.1. All pannel of VamStory disappeared while I run it, and will be back to normal when I deactivated it. For some reason, I have 4 VAM in different folders, and I tried 3 of them, they all have the situation like the last screenshot.

Much appreciated for some helps!

  1. VAMStory is world UI, not a GUI. The "in front of everything" bug was fixed a long time ago.
  2. Colortone is very dirty hack which produce all sorts of weird behaviors. I cannot support it properly as it breaks the render queue.

Keep in mind @Nobius that pinning a UI to the corner of the screen will be a terrible experience in VR, all blurry at best.

Thanks for let me know, this is very important to me, bucause I am not a VR user. I will try something else on the UI pannel.(y)

Maybe someday I'll add a "render queue" param, but I have so much things to do xD
