    Clothing Pants_v2

Vam does not utilize the rigs of clothing items at all. bones will be ignored in vam, and in turn, weight painting. Your best bet is to just import a underwear as normal, and simaround where the penis tip touches the underwear and have that tip portion unsimmed if you prefer it did not pop out...

Does the AUTO Generate Female GEN Texture Feature always uses a razor mark Shaved look Genital Template to bake the texture ?

What wonders me with the auto Texture usage Feature is that this Feature always adds razor Shaved HAIR look Parts on the GENS then. Even if my new Torso SKIN is usually entire blank ( and the LOOK Source GEN Texture was blank too ) is the behavior, that the VAM AUTO feature somehow replaces...

Plugins + Scripts Blender templates to convert OBJs exported from VAM into OBJs that use UDIM

Yeah, while the method of selecting the head, and then selecting the bordering materials and deslect them looks good on the UV-pile at first, when one tries to move the selected UVs it still has connections one would not want. Trying to find out what's happening there, using the vertex index...

Clothing Urethane Mask - Skin binding reworked

Ever since I posted previous version, I've learned a lot of thing about VAM, DAZ, and Blender. Now I feel I could make some more stuff. (also now I see preparing skinned CUA is too hard for me now) therefore, I made this for starter! this looks no difference to previous one, but no longer exist...

    Question 3D Printing VAM objects

Hi, I have allready tried this some time ago. Unfortunately with bad to mediocre results: - You can't export and print the dynamical generated VaM hair! You need to replace it in DAZ or Blender. - PLACEHOLDER (I need to check out if the VaM OBJ exporter really does not export clothes. I don't...

Guides The definitive asset creation tutorial for VaM

People do gatekeep allot of knowledge sometimes , even here, but the hair thing there's a tutorial for it, give it a try, if it works well I'd like to know, I haven't tried it yet myself but they seem like they mean it ...

Guides Vam to Blender to Vam

Ah, thanks a lot for the info. Yep that will actually help with my project (which does require Subdivision, but also some Sculpting too). I'll check around for the R3DS Wrap thing. Thanks.

Definitive Guide for modeling in VAM (morphs, clothes, hair and CUA)

My attempt with this post is to create an easier way to learn the basics (and advanced) steps to model in VAM Sadly I cannot create the guide, I'm a newbie, but trying to learn I've found the information is spread in a lot of links, some of them outdated, maybe we can build just one guide with...

    Looks Cloned Lambs 2.0
    Hub-Hosted VAR CC BY

Two versions of game character with and without freckles. Based on daz model published on deviant, after i got a green light from the author. Did some minor morphs tweaks, for personal taste; remade freckles textures. Two outfits included, but they're a-single-piece sets and not simmed. New...

Have you ever observed it carefully? All Vam character models have the wrong ear shape.

In fact, not only the auricles of the ears vam cannot be unified with daz (the model has auricles in daz, but the auricles disappear in vam). Also, vam, the tip of the nose, is not consistent with daz. In other words, if you create a deformation at the tip of the nose, this deformation will not...

    Solved Clothing Importing as Black?

Thanks for the response! I went in and checked the face orientation and it was blue. I double checked that it was unwrapped. And I reapplied a Principled BSDF shader. I then Re-exported the OBJ, as new file, in a new folder (just to be 1000%sure) Went back to daz, Imported, fitted to g2f via...

Question Easy way to transfer one models breasts to another?

Unless they are made of several morphs (where you could look at the values and reproduce the same thing on your char), then not really. You could potentially attempt to extract the breast/chest only from the morph... but I'm suspecting you're not asking for that sort of very complex process...

Plugins + Scripts Daz Generations Converter

Indeed, "Write normals" was missing and checking this parameter doesn't solve the problem. But now the size of the files are 3.4Mb for G2 and 2.6Mb for G8. I put the new files in attachments. Can you check the files on your setup to see if the problem comes from DAZ or from the pulgin in Blender?

    Question How to create charactors?

😳~Oh, maybe. You have a point. 😳~I just don't want to use any VAM deformation sliders to make models anymore. I want to use all kinds of software, such as ZBrush, Houdini, Blender, C4D and other software to modify DAZ character models. I don't even want to make hair in VAM. I am now in a big...

Question Blender Character Model to Vam Look?

The vap file was created within VaM, it's a file I saved from the "Appearance Preset" tab after putting everything together. Daz would be exporting a dsf morph file and duf scene files for clothing. Placing a dsf file in your VaM's "Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs " folder will have it automatically...

    Question Layering Clothing?

There are no collisions between different types of clothing, so it may prove difficult. You can adjust the surface offset and thickness. You can also set the collision radius and power for simmed clothing in the physics properties tab, it sets how far the object will sit away from the body when...

Breast morph for tighter clothing? Breast spill/cup overflow.

Hey, nice work on that bra morph, Origin69! A friend of mine linked me to this thread since this is an interest of mine. I'm working on something a bit more extreme for a new boobie band, but it's not quite baked yet. Here are some views of the work in progress. The geometry looks pretty...
