Suggestion: Quick save Button for generated Appearances

Thanks! Could you elaborate on the quick save button? That sounds like a cool idea. What would it look like and do? You can PM me or answer in the discussion thread. Thanks for the suggestion!

Love it - this is a super great way to try out variations in your skins. For a future version you should consider making separate appearances for (say) three different skins, ie. 1a 1b 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c...etc. to add further variations

Thanks! Yes, I'm considering something like that. Maybe a tool which allows you to load an appearance, and then select a set of x skins/hair preferences/clothing preferences to randomly choose from. Maybe even combine that with this app so that once you are happy with your model, you can tweak it with different skins/hair etc. But, realistiscally this would be another project taking a long time.

This is something I missed from HS2, of course it a bit more complicated in VaM but man you did a great job on that one thanks for the hard work and putting it up here for free !

i think it should have a scrollbar for some 2k or 1k screen.

A well executed system to help you quickly create new looks based off your library of favs.

This is a great concept! Awesome idea. Thank you so much for also sharing it.

Sadly I have a problem, your app doesn't show anything in the window in step 3. I'm sure that my base dir for VAM is correctly set. I also have plenty of saved appearances in the game (all saved in-game using the "Appearances presets", this is what we want, right?).

Would you have maybe any suggestion on what the problem could be?

Did you select an appearance directory? Where .vap’s are located?

Great way of making a new appearance based on your favourite appearances, very addictive and simple to use!

This seems really cool and a way to try a bunch of looks you might not think of. Messed with it a bit and the results are pretty good!

I only have one comment/observation though. After rating the first generation, am I supposed to relaunch the executable file?
I don't think I should, as it generates a new generation 'map' but I don't see any other way of getting back to the generate appearances button after the rating screen.

Would appreciate some clarity on that particular step!

Awesome that you like the app! After rating them all, press the green button below with “Generate Population”. This will reset the ratings, but now you can click in Vam again at the 20 available numbers! As you will see these will be new generated looks. Let me know if this worked out for you! (The video at the top of the post might also be helpful).
