I was a little skeptical at first, but man you did a fantastic job. It really is a natural way to pose the models.

Like TRSD said, I didn't realize how much time I spent micromanaging each limb and worrying about explosions...

Thanks very much! And I appreciate your skepticism- I think it will help evaluate things in the long run. For example, I wonder if the high dampers might hinder some people in making an animation. But, they can't be worse than leaving a node "On" and locking it in place when the body's supposed to be in motion, right?

I also wonder how a rig like this might help someone lay the foundation for natural mo-cap using possession/embody.
