I saw a thread the other day about lack of black content (it's just incidental, no special angle, don't get all hot and bothered at the start of the write-up, you prickly audience members). Well, it stuck with my mind for some reason. I'm white, and I haven't made many black characters in my history of art and games. But I figured, hey, "I can't do no worse than the folks ridin' in the saddle, so might as well pull 'em down and try ridin' myself." So I decided to challenge myself and take the black girl challenge, and release my first public look. You be the judge.

Kynesha (Kai-NEE-sha) grew up in a medium-sized town in North Carolina. Her parents wanted her to attend the same historically black college they attended, but it wasn't what was in her heart. After being mocked and insulted her whole upbringing for her light eyes and lighter skin tone, being referred to as "that Mixed girl" (mixed racial background), Kynesha knew what it felt like to be "Othered." She wasn't bitter about her upbringing, but she wanted a change of scenery and was ready to leave the South behind.
She graduated near the top of her class and received a full ride to a university in New York state, which she gladly took, majoring in Communications. She later earned her Master's degree in Psychology at the same university, and works there today, helping to facilitate accessibility services for deaf and disabled students. Kynesha is known for being exceptionally nice, but frequently makes her voice heard when students or faculty are being frivolous or wasteful. She thinks there should be less talk on campus about cancelling speakers, and more about stair lifts, access to mental health services, and funding to make sure the differently abled have their needs met and don't spend their college years in social isolation.
Is she pretty? Yes. But she's not an easy girl. If you're planning to VaM her up, you're required to at least have a chat and go for a dinner first (preferably candlelit). This isn't your average VaM wench- she's got a heart of gold, pure virtual wife material! But she'd never speak ill of a looser VaM lady- she's too polite, and she's got too much class. If you don't like to read, well, just don't try. It won't be a good match.
Her favorite fruit is the avocado, and her favorite Star Wars character is Princess Leia. She likes board games, but won't play Settlers of Catan anymore because she doesn't like arguing unless it's important. She has never been married, has no children, and lives in a decent condo with her long-haired cat. Definitely a catch. She also reads her horoscope (Libra) every now and then as a guilty pleasure. But she doesn't like to admit it.
Kynesha does not allow Southern transplant students to refer to her as "Ms. Kynesha," she says a simple "Kynesha" will do just fine. She also reminds students that "Y'all means all, means all."
Tech:
- Uses Monique skin (I wanted to use a lesser used skin). Therefore, many decals may be incompatible due to the different UV map. If you absolutely have to, change the skin. But I think it's great the way it is!
- Morphs are default, then, special AV morphs such as AV Penetration Zones, and, a number more of special secret unreleased AV morphs that do cool stuff you just can't get anywhere else. Maybe they'll be packaged as a standalone one day. Gosh it takes time to make those things and get them labeled, rigged and exported.
- Morphs are in all-in-ones named Kynesha and Kynesha genital (or something like that). Path is _AV_BodyMorphs and _AV_BodyMorphs_Genitals. Bonus: they're both super duper bone rigged so the figure should move really well!
- Demo scene starts with Sturdygirl Goddess physics pose from Specialist BioRigs. So try it out for yourself!
Dependency list (references things I didn't ever use, but, might as well post the whole thing. Seriously, I have no idea why these plugin dependencies are in there as they aren't used. If someone can advise, please do):
