Cavern Entrance Scene

You place the tarnished old key into the hole in the otherwise smooth granite slab that stands before you. It makes a few satisfying clicks as it slides in. You turn it and the door slowly swings open, balanced perfectly on the hinges expertly crafted and invisible in the rock wall that supports it. A stone stairway leads down into the bowels of the mountain and a breeze flows out at you. The air is musty and cool and you hear the sound of water even before you start your decent.
The shaft of light from the entrance penetrates the darkness and reveals a torch on the wall. You light it and it flickers to life dimly. You now see that the floor of the cavern is covered in shallow murky water... and you hear a guttural growl echoing through the chamber. Whatever it is, it's just beyond the torch's light. Roll for initiative!

I made this with the intention of using it in a upcoming look release of my character that I've been using in a D&D campaign for the past few years. When you spawn in a person atom, it should be pretty much centered on the rock at the bottom of the stairs and should be decently lit. On the UI, if you click the ear icon it activates some nice spatial ambience. And the buttons are connected to the red sphere, so grab that if you need to move the UI out of the way.
The scene was built from free assets on the hub, and I'd like to think it showcases them and some incredible plugins pretty well. We've got some massively talented, creative and generous people here!

Future Ideas (not plans!)

I'd love to expand the cavern and add some other rooms. Or even have some options that give it an entirely different flavor at the click of a button. Like maybe turn it into an ice cave? Or fill it with torture devices! Or have a tentacle monster just off in the distance! Is it a fearsome enemy, or just something your Tiefling keeps as a pet and uses when she can't satisfy herself any other way? There are so many possibilities but only so much time!
