Welcome to Castaway Island! This exotic beach paradise is your next stop for a relaxing vacation, or perhaps a perilous fight for survival... I tried to make a semi-realistic environment mashup using an assortment of assets available here on the hub and I think it turned out nicely. My biggest grip with VAM is it's hard to make the virtual world really feel alive like some VR games have done really well. I want to be able to put on my headset and actually feel like I'm sitting on a beach in the middle of the ocean, and I think I got pretty close with this setup. The movement of the trees in the breeze and waves rolling in the ocean really help bring this environment to life. I added some various audio nodes to help add to the atmosphere too!
