This guide presents possible workflows to adapt my 2023 template scene to other sexes than the ones included:

The template was made in a male with female (or two females) perspective, with a focus on male possession with Passenger. While it will always be biased to this original setup, it's possible to change sexes relatively easily to explore other sexual experiences.

The primary focus of the guide

I will try to convey tips and instructions to help converting the included persons to other options, but I'll primarily focus on one - to convert the Male atom to a alternative Futa using Stopper's Alternative Futa plugin:


It is possible to convert a female atom to a male atom with its textures and hair, but unfortunately clothes cannot be converted without the original items. Stopper's plugin creates a alternative futa by adding a male's genitals to a female atom. The result is not perfect texture wise, but it's quick to do, convenient, and gives you all the female clothing you want to use, soft body physics and colliders.
Naturally, you lose access to male clothing, especially the fluid clothing, and there's some other compromises to consider, but it's up to you to weigh in the pros and cons.


The included VAR

The downloadable VAR in this guide contains presets to speed up the adaptation process of turning the Male atom to a alternative futa (female atom base). They are the following:

• CUA preset (FutaCum) - includes hazmhox's Fluids101 plugin (male) to be added on the penis tip
• Morph overlay preset (Alt futa cockzilla overlay) - penis morphs to make a big dick because why not?
• Template UI VAMStory Actions backups (BodyUI/MoanUI backup) - to quickly update the UI in the template to the new alternative futa person

I considered some more presets, for example in the Male atom plugins, but they're easy to change manually and with less chance of breaking triggers or having side-effects. I'll point out in more detail how to use the presets above and what else you need to do in the template scene.

Template adaptation workflow

Whether you're starting anew with the template or want to adapt a scene you made earlier to use a alternative futa male, the following topics will guide you on the process. Naturally, if you are customizing a previously adapted scene created from the template, do check if the suggested actions will not break something you've added.

In the template, the male person is aptly called Male, and the female(s) is Female or Female2 (FFM template). Don't change the names or else the presets in the VAR will not work.
While you can use the FFM template to be a FFFu scene, I have no idea how much impact a third female would have in your FPS, especially if you set Soft Body Physics ON on the alternative futa (Male). The below process is made for the standard template with 2 persons, as well as the VAR presets, you'd need to adjust accordingly.

Male person plugins

My suggestion is to change the Male person plugins manually. It's a simple process and low risk of breaking triggers, that's why I didn't add a plugin preset for this part.

Start by changing the Male's skin to a female skin, for example to Tara like the other female(s). Then:

1. Replace the fluids101 plugin (#2) with the Naturalis plugin (optional);
2. Add the Alternative Futa plugin as a new plugin (#5).

Your recently changed male that turned into a female should now have a penis. Feel free to turn ON Soft Body Physics if you want to use the Naturalis plugin.
If you're making a new scene with a specific appearance, you can load that appearance preset now and make some adjustments to the penis textures and offsets in the plugin (#5) options.

Male morphs preset

If you want a big dick there's a overlay morph preset in the shared VAR (Alt futa cockzilla overlay). This is optional.

UI presets

The two included VAMStory Actions backup files can replace the existing Body UI buttons and Moan Voices buttons to reflect the new reality of the male. Essentially it's a removal of buttons regarding penis and cum thickness in BodyUI and addition of moan options in MoanUI for the futa person.
In OptionsUI, where the sub-UI buttons show up from, go to the plugin labelled BodyUI > global options > restore from backup, and do the same for the plugin labelled MoanUI.

CUA atom for male fluids

We need to use the old way of using the Fluids101 plugin. For this you add a CUA atom, name it FutaCum for example, and place it in front of the penis tip with the blue arrow pointing to the direction the fluids are meant to go. You can now load the CUA preset (FutaCum) in the VAR in this atom.
If not already, set in the Control tab the "Link to Atom" and "Link to" to be "Male" and "penis tip", then change position and rotation to be a Parent Link, uncheck grab checkboxes, and ideally set the atom to be "hidden".
You also want to go to the Fluids plugin and test if the cum is cuomming correctly or if you need to adjust the atom position or fluids values.

Other manual changes

In OptionsUI there's a relay for Naturalis (#1). Add the male person in there like the female's example trigger if you want the futa person to callibrate Naturalis when pressing the "Calibrate" button in BodyUI.

In ControlSS/FluidsControl in the group of empty atoms on the left side, go to plugin#2 "penis actions" and last action's triggers. There's one with a label "stream 0.7,0.8;1.2,1;0.8,1", which is meant to be for your CUA with the fluids, so something like "FutaCum" > plugin#0 > "Spray X times, customizable" = "0.7,0.8;1.2,1;0.8,1". Adapt the name if you named your CUA differently.

And I think this covers it for a base conversion.

Notes on Alternative futa adaptations

• You should read the description of the plugin for limitations and tips while using the plugin. You can save and load presets for the plugin which allows you to keep better textured penises based on the appearance preset you load
• You cannot set triggers for Male morphs, like flacid or erect, as the person is not a male person
• Fluid clothing for a penis is also not available, but for other parts of the body may be
• You have access to everything a female person has because you have a female atom
• Weird stuff may happen

Changing the male to a female with a strap-on (female based skin)

May be similar to the procedure above without some parts related to a penis as a body part. Parenting a strap-on and aiming it will likely be the biggest changes or difficulties and depends on the strap-on possibilities.


Changing the male to a real Futa (male based skin)

There's guides in the Hub that explain the process and you can convert pretty much all females with textures and hairs quite well and doesn't take that long once you understand the process and try it a couple of times.
In the end you end up with a male atom, so there's probably little to change in the template apart from sizing differences.

You may need to adjust the Fluids101 plugin options in the Male atom to match the new penis size, and the UI slider related to penis size+offset will possibly not work well if it's much different from the original male penis. Make sure to press the button "clean fluids" when loading a new male appearance to merge load the fluid clothing, same like with the female appearances.


Changing the female(s) to male/futa

This I never tried and I have no idea how well it could work. For starters you should include in the male's plugins Divining Rod the option for "Male" and "Anus". Maybe try only changing the Divining Rod options first and see how it fares, then adjust to what failed.


I think it's enough and hope this helps broadening the interest of the template to more people, or still the same but in a different way. The whole point is to have fun with it
