Fantastic plugin, really excellent work.

My suggestion for the tool, would be when you select Draw, have CTRL or ALT or something be the Inverse Draw. Basically while I am working on a morph, if for example Draw too much and it's Bulging out, I want to be able to just click a key and have it now do the opposite and Inverse Draw. So I can just pull and push quickly without needing to go into the UI and change the Brush. So if I pick for example the Inflate, and I click Shift to apply the Inflate, it would be great to press something like CTRL to De-inflate. I noticed the Erase works good for undoing, so maybe having that on a hot key.

Of course if there are ways to do this now, that I am simply missing, then by all means please point them out to me, I appreciate it.
yeah i thought about that but it'll complicate things a bit as not all brushes can have a perfect reverse effect like move surface, smooth or smooth surface... etc. it's better to use erase brush to undo your edits

Dude, This is sick man. My painted clothing items have been transformed.

you can scale the brush down to a single pixel already?
It still doesn't work. What I mean is, the brush range shouldn't be at least 5. For example, if I want to fix something very fine, it should be 3 or 1. Looking forward to your update

An idea maybe would be to have Erase on a hot key, so you can always undo a little while sculpting. Whatever the case, this has been an excellent addition to the Vam toolbox, sooooo much better than the tedious Blender method. Thank you.

ah i get what you're saying now i thought you we're talking about the edit mode, it shouldn't make a difference anyways as long as you are zoomed in on the skin. 5 radius should still be able to affect 1 vertex at a time

Excellent plugin, take very little time to get used to for people with Blender experience. A small proposal that perhaps you can consider. Saving modification not as a morph but as a temporary file that the plugin can reload later, like a save file for the plugin itself.

As it is right now, say I made a morph, but later if I want to change it a bit more and export the new change as a new delta morph, then I would have two separate morphs. If it's possible to reload a save file for modification to pick up right where it was left off, then I can export everything as a single morph.

Could this be possible? It is not a big deal for me personally, just an idea that I would like to throw out there. Anyway, good stuff!

目前市面上有两个变形雕刻工具,对比了很多,还是你这个方便很多,可以比较精细的雕刻和编辑,非常感谢的你作品

This is absolutely amazing, Skynet. Great job.

As a 3D character sculptor in Blender and other apps, this plugin already has a lot of promise. Just being able to fix messed up combinations of morphs is amazing enough.

I do have some requests/suggestions, if you're willing.

* A mode toggle that totally prevents misclicks/hotkeys unrelated to sculpting, so that when it's enabled, you're only able to sculpt the model and not touch anything else. This way, you wouldn't have to hold SHIFT to brush.
* My personal workflow, whether from scratch (a sphere) or with existing models/sculpts, is to switch between Grab and Smooth brushes a lot, where Grab makes small or big changes, and Smooth quickly "mixes" things together. You can do a lot with just those two brushes. It'd be nice to be able to quickly switch between Grab and Smooth with just a single button press (eg. hold SHIFT to Smooth, while using any other brush as your primary), or perhaps be able to select two brushes from two different rollouts, so that the user can switch between them with said button press, in the event other users/artists have their own preferences.
* Could you add Blender's feature whereby the brush "Radius Unit" (size) can be set to either View or Scene, whereby in "Scene" setting the brush size does not change when you zoom in and out from the model? This way, the brush will maintain the same size relative to the model, as you orbit/zoom the view.

That's it from me. With such features, I'd personally be able to sculpt pretty much anything human-related, and it really opens up A LOT of potential for existing models.

The tooltip text does not scale well with small resolutions. Game is in windowed mode 1600 x 900.

Hello!

Love the plugin so far and it has saved me countless hours of trying 10,000 chest morphs to find the one I'm looking for.

I am running into one small problem where when I try to edit the area between the lip and nose I'm getting very little to no movement in the mesh. Specifically, I'm trying to recreate the look of someone who was born with a cleft pallet and had surgery to fix it, but it was an imperfect surgery leaving the lip pulled up on one side and a divot from one nostril down to the lip. Maybe VAM handles this area differently? (All the brushes work as expected when used on cheek/jaw, torso, etc.

Any suggestion would be helpful :)

Skynet updated Morph Sculpt with a new update entry:

update v3

-- New Features & Improvements:
- Added new rig mode, Edit character bone offsets, with mirror support, orthographic view for accurate bone alignment, snap camera view (up, bottom, left... etc)
- Adjust Rigging to shape feature that works better than original DAZ implementation, allows for auto bone fitting to new character shape that accounts sclupt mode, edit mode & current active morphs. so you can sculpt characters from scratch with no deformations...

Skynet submitted a new resource:

Morph Sculpt - Blender inspired skin Sculpting & Mesh Edit mode inside vam!

Finally, I waited for your update. After reading the update instructions, I found that in editing mode, the brush intensity can be 0-1, but I cannot adjust it to 1. The minimum value has always been 5. Is it because I don't know how to use it

Thank you! (y)
It might be me, but it looks like save as delta morphs toggle does not work like in previous version, it saves all morphs together
i just re-tested and it works as intended, you probably forgot to reload morphs & toggle off modifications in the plugin before testing it out

I am so sorry for wasting your time! My mistake, you are absolutely right, everything is working as it should, its perfect! (y)

This is an amazing, very powerful plugin. Possibly a game-changer if the users want accurate body sculpts for very stylized characters (especially video gaming-related ports).

However, not sure if I'm dumb (very likely but still, just wondering), but how do I go about exporting only a small morph change without exporting the entirety of the custom morphs tabs that were already in use for said character? Because, yes it does work (I.E. I can sculpt just fine), and yes, exporting the Morph does show up in the general Female Morphs tab. But, after I disable the plugin (after I'm done making the new morph), it basically takes all the morphs that were already there and does an x2 apply on them; which of course completely destroys the character as a result. In other words, I can't figure out how to export only that small change I made on her calves, rather than resulting in a full body export.

In the export options I do see that we can export the Body, Gens, or Body + Gens Regions. Of course I selected 'just' the Body... but I was thinking that it would just save the little edit I did (which is technically located on the "Body Region", but that's where my confusion came from, I didn't think it would literally mean that it would export the whole body), on its own, and then I'd just find that edit in the Female Morphs tab, and applying it would just repeat the small morph change I applied on her calves. I'm actually able to sculpt in Blender, but ironically when I do work in Blender it's because I normally do a near-complete remorph overhaul on a port, so I do end up saving the 'whole thing' indeed. But here with this plugin I thought that I could finally just apply minute little adjustments "on their own".

I'm most likely missing something. If so, please, do correct me; just need some guidance. I would appreciate it. Thank you very much for this amazing plugin! :)

use "Save As Delta Morphs" is checked before exporting your morph, it should save the morph only as the edits you made excluding the applied morphs from morphs tab. please read the plugin info sub tabs again for more clarity
