Question WTF is going on with VAMX poses and their orientation (XYZ)?

Load pose x and it's facing x one time, load it again and it's facing x-90, load it again and it's facing x-180. I'm talking "y" axis, i.e., the axis that runs up-down (I'm new to VAM so not sure if it's "y up/down" like the programs I'm familiar with). Also, it seems to be a session-dependent thing; i.e., start VAM and load a scene and you're rolling the dice.

Am I crazy, or do other people get the same behavior? Is there something I'm missing, some way to correct this?
