Controllers Appearance - Scale of controllers

Simple plugin to change appearance of controllers.
Works as session plugin.

Only scale for now:​ Icon Scale: Controllers with icons. Cube Scale: Controllers without icons (like Person's spine, elbow, etc.). Selected Scale: Selected controller's white/blue mesh.

Would it be possible to make this compatible with PluginIdea's GizmosSystem? Currently this plugin hides any custom controller icons, which GizmosSystem uses to easily identify controllers.

Not sure how it works because this plugin changing only few parameters of controller's scale and should not affect of visibility Need to experiment a bit. Extra controllers icons from GyzmosSystem are very tiny.
Also thanks, now I know which plugin modifying person's icons, I had an idea to create my own icons too.

• Custom Icons:​

  • CustomUnityAsset
  • Empty
  • Person: Head, LeftHand, RightHand, LeftFoor, RightFoot.

I'll fix this soon.

Quick fix for now is extract "ControllersAppearance.assetbundle" into "VaM\Custom\Scripts\Datel" until i did not figure out how to fix script

I was gonna ask for custom icons before but didnt give me time , thank you so much
So now i wanted to ask, is it possible to give controllers a custom color?

i was using Colored Controllers, but it was kinda buggy, specially when combined with yours. (locked positions got unlocked, sometimes controllers become invisible and i have to remove your plugin to bring them back, hard reset required after removing it too)

Thank you) Yes, change color of controller is very easy and controller has color variable for every state. I thought about color changing, but did not decide how to do it better.
For now i have an idea to make extra script to change color for On state for every controller in atom, or change color for all their states. Also i thought about to colorize left and rights controllers for person to blue and orange

If your strong and great will allows it, could you please possibly consider adding custom icons for the chest and hip so that all the main controllers are easily identifiable.

Can an atom plugin change color of each one individually? so that you can have different colored controllers for different atoms (a: green b:blue c:red)

If that is not even possible, i think what you were doing is better.
Your icons mark left/right and the linked lines help locate which atom already. So maybe custom icons for the rest of the controllers as suggested above

I meant to add extra plugin to atom and setup it's controller colors, just not global session plugin but add plugin for every atom you wanted to change colors.
As i guess, session plugin cannot save and load params for scene, or need to do some tricks.
Anyway, having an ability to setup some things manually can be very useful if you need it

I'm glad you found this solution) I will definitely add chest and hip icon.
Thought about icons for other body types, but not sure. At first glance, these icons may not be entirely clear.
Also, when more parts have icons, you have less controllers without it, so easier to recognize them too

I agree. While using it i've realized that having most of the times the lines are enough for locating what im looking for, but sometimes they're close to eachother and might confuse knee and elbow for example. Not a big problem, as it was without this plugin

Or, maybe making it an optional plugin as well, one with the main controllers and one with the the secondary? (toes knee elbow and so)
