Thinking about getting a new PC and wanted to ask what kind of specs you guys are using for a smooth VaM experience.

Also looking for opinions on these questions:

Is there an advantage over an Intel vs AMD mother board for VaM?
And what about Nvidea vs AMD for the GPU?
What is the minimum RAM that works for you?

The motherboard has barely any effect on performance - you're probably thinking of CPU / processor. Intel is generally a bit better in raw power per core when comparing the manufacturers overall, but AMD's X3D processors are very good for VAM as well. Ultimately I'd say it comes down to cost / budget.
And what about Nvidea vs AMD for the GPU?
NVIDIA. AMD has good value, but NVIDIA seems to be better for a smooth VR experience.
What is the minimum RAM that works for you?
16GB can work but tends to lead to issues in VAM. I recommend 32 GB

What Everlaster said. And if you plan to use any AI features with Vam, I strongly suggest a Nvidia GPU with at least 12GB VRAM, better 24GB.
I had some serious unstableness with just only 16GB of RAM, go get 32

Lots of people post their specs here:
