• Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released another critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.12 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

Two things, One for Music, One for BodyLanguage.

I need help with two things.

1. I got music set up with a simple music on and off button with three songs playing. I'm wondering, is there a way for the songs to loop back around and replay the first? Also, is there a way to make the music play within a set area and not in the whole scene? I have the music playing in a van and I want to be in that general spot and not, y'now, everywhere.

2. I'm using BodyLanguage in the scene and is there a way for the characters to NOT stare at the camera, AKA you? I've been trying to figure this out to no avail.

There is a possibility to handle playlists through Audiomate.

If you want a cool "diegetic" music, I can recommend using VAMAtmosphere with the occlusion plugin which will simulate natural occlusion in areas. You need to ensure your audiosource is in 3D mode, not 2D (slider all the way to 3D mode).

This is not a Body Language thing, this is a normal VAM setting. In your behaviors in the character, select what type you'd like for the eye target (player/target/custom...). A proper way to make a realistic eye behavior is to use Glance from Acid Bubbles.

When I mean stare, i mean like the whole head moving and looking at me. It has something to do with the gaze tab under the PoseMe menu. When I turn it off, she stops but she also doesn't look anywhere else.

If you don't have Gaze systems, then you need to animate : )

Or, you can try Gaze in VAMStory where you can put a 0 weight on the gaze and enable random animations.
