Is there a way to trigger a physics link by proximity? For example, two figures are standing - when their hands get near one another, a physics link is established, so that animation of one of the figures will pull the linked control with it? If so, is there a way to END the physics link by a second trigger, so that the 1st figure can pull its hand back to a neutral position, and the 2nd character's hand will not follow it?
I looked at McGruber's logic bricks - but I don't see a way to do that there.
I was thinking some sort of invisible object, with a physics link to both the Person1 hand controller and the Person2 hand controller might do it, and you could delete and load that invisible object at the appropriate times? Am I overthinking this? Is there a simpler way?
