EDIT:
Actually, the root control seems working with relative position. It's the pose using absolute position. The animations have pose set with "pose: include root" toggled on, so at the beginning the person is always in the original position and then "dragged" to my subscence location by the root control target.
I found a work around by toggle off "pose: include root" for all animations, and let the root control target to change person location during animations. But I still get physics explosion if my position transition within my animation is too sudden, because I'm relying on root control to physically move my person around, instead of relying on pose to teleport.

I have a few timeline animations which involve person changing positions(so I added person root control as the target in key frames). I saved the person to a subscene and I want to load it to other scenes. However, after loading to the new scene, each time a new animation starts my person is first reset to its absolute position and then immediately shift back to where I put my subscene atom(the place I actually want it to be).

I feel this is due to root control saves its absolute position in timeline. Is there a way to make it relative position to another atom i.e. my subscene atom?

I think you might solve this by using timelines bulk change functions, which allow moving all selected targets by e.g. 1 m to the left or the like. Its important to select all targets and the entire animation before executing this bulk action.

Can bulk change the root control position in the saved poses? I believe it's my poses causing the trouble instead of targets.
