In this example. I have my pause playback trick.
I have created 2 poses. The starting pose from the scene, and the humpy pose.
Is there a way to store the pose that the atom is in before the switch to the humpy pose?
Something automatic to not have to save extra poses, Just a way to store what the atom was in before the switch and return to that when I click the "return" pose.
A way to keep the return pose updated to what pose the Atom was in before the switch.

This would open up a way to a lot of scene manipulation for this kind of play through

No, there is no automatic way to store a pose.
Using Timeline is the best possible alternative.
