Been trying out VAM for a few days. Amazing product.
It desperately needs some QOL features however.

For the select menu:

Multi Delete
Multi Select + move / rotate
Clone / Duplicate
VAM prefab - create a prefabricated item out of multiple assets. (I.e. I have a camera displaying an image to a viewport, which is positioned on a DSLR-Camera prop. It would be nice to reimport this DIY asset rather than rebuilding it any time I want to use it in a new scene.)

General UI:

Open file explorer - goto the whatever file has an asset
General mass management / organization for assets.

In general I think the desktop mode needs a lot of love. I actually went out and bought a VR headset for this game, and things like posing are probably way better, but file management and ui is a bit clunky especially if you have a huge asset library.

Bonus suggestion:

Ingame clothing designer. - I don't know how hard this would be but it would be awsome.

Using @Acid Bubbles KeyBindings plugin you can Delete and Clone atoms by hotkey

For multi move/rotate you can parent atoms to each other, although its not exactly what you want.

"VaM Prefabs" are essentially subscenes. Just parent a bunch of atoms to a subscene atom, allowing you to save that independently.

Ah! Thank you these mods are very helpful!

However: VAM Is INCREDIBLE software with extreme potential as a creative suite as it develops. I think the software would benefit in multitudes by giving a bit more official love to the desktop UX. (versus mods)
I could easily see this outshining DAZ 3D eventually.

I.e. I have a TON of custom content. hundreds of gigabytes. Running off an m.2 SSD it can take 30 seconds to load the script browser, and an additional 15 seconds to load any folder I click thereafter. There's probably not much VAM can do to optimize this, and that's fine, but the more built-in fuctionality there is, the less I have to rely on custom scripts, and thus increase my workflow speed.
(I am mostly testing VAM for professional applications, not just vrporn)
