Please add image attachments to private messages

since images can be added just about everywhere else on the site, i imagine there's a good reason why they're disabled on DMs. but in case it's just an oversight, i think it would be helpful if they were available there too to avoid having to upload them somewhere first

They are disabled because we can't easily monitor and moderate DMs. They could be used to exchange illegal images (child porn, etc.) using our site as the host, so there are legal ramifications to allowing it.

You can create yourself an album in the media section and upload images there. In your private message you then embed the image from there.

yup but I'm too lazy for that, that's why I brought it up
