The wife will ask about picking an outfit, and choice buttons should then appear near her hand. You'll need to have hazmhox's VAMStory plugin for it (and the rest of the scene) to work. After picking an option she'll respond, and there'll possibly be a delay up to ~10sec before the scene progresses.

I'll look into it further. I have primarily tested it in 2D, so I don't think VR is the main issue.
Other users haven't reported a similar problem, so I'm trying to figure how this is happening

The point you're having trouble with is exactly the start of Chapter 2; you can select Chapter 2 at scene load to jump to the problem segment.
Does the wife say any lines as you get stuck? ("Hubby, I'm getting nervous...")
Is there a slight looping animation of the wife fiddling with her wedding ring/hand?
This will help me figure out which trigger or plugin isn't working.

If you really want to keep going with the rest of the scene, you can select Chapter 3. It will skip the reveal and introduction of your 'guest', but the action truly begins from Chapter 3.

i tried to click chapter 2
yeah its exactly where its stuck for me
she just keep fiddling with her hand
the scene literally looping there for me
and there is no lines from the wife or any other lines
maybe the only text which could appear is when i click on some paintings?
but the scene just stuck there for me

Can you please check the Error Log and paste/report it here?

Can you also confirm that all the dependencies are installed?

This point of the scene should be the first time hazmhox's VAMStory is used, and will be needed for the rest of the scene.

Have there been no voiced lines at anytime (earlier in the scene) for you? Or just at the kitchen segment?
The voices rely on MacGruber's LogicBricks, with subtitles through VAMOverlays.
So if throughout the entire scene you've not had any subtitles or any voices whatsoever, then I'm thinking these could also be missing.

If Chapter 3 works (especially the bedroom scene/option controls on the backwall that appear after about a minute), then VAMStory should be fine.

I can't replicate the problem, so I don't know what would fix it properly.

I'll try to add a workaround in the next revision so that you can keep going.

I've updated the scene; there are now some outfit selection buttons that you can use (always visible but obscurely tucked away on the ceiling).

At least now i can advance the scene without messing the button via edit mode

Also im not sure if its just ending at the "fin" screen where we cant do anything or its just me

Glad to make the scene work better for you.

There's nothing left to do at "Fin.", that playthrough is finished. On replay, it's possible to jump to Chapter 2 to make the outfit choice, or Chapter 3 to get right back into the action.
I'll keep a 'restart' button in mind for the next scene I'm working on.
