Question new plugins vs old vam

quick question... I don't know how plugins work, but I'm wondering if there's a simple way to run the current plugins on VAM version 18.2? I'm specifically interested in Cloth Skin by stopper. Nothing special has been introduced to vam over the years, I would rather support the plugin creator than force an update.
