How would I search the hub for (for example) just resources in the plugins + scripts category with the word "video" in the title?
I only want to see resources in the plugins + scripts category. And only those with the word "video" in the title.
I run into this issue every time i think of some resource I want or might have used some years ago that i lost between installs. There has to be a way. Right??
Are there some secret switches we can add to the search field?

I know you can filter resources. But using the filter as it is now, I have to manually scan through pages and pages of results. 19 pages in this case.
And using just the search gives doesn't allow you to narrow it down to categories, so I still end up with 20 pages of results. Many of those results have "video" in the tags too, which it seems is included no matter what you do. Tag search ought to be an option you can deselect. When there is a tick box that says "search title only" or "search title & first post only" that's what a user is going to expect will happen. Not allowing to exclude tags from the search is unhelpful in a search like my example because the results are bloated with many many resources that don't have video in the title. Yes i know there's the little (?) question mark you can hover over that tells you it will search tags too. What if I don't want that? Because it ruins the results of the search by giving me too many things I don't want.

If there's a way, someone show me the light please.

If it’s hard to find here, you could try using the in-game hub. I get 20 results in the plugins + scripts category when searching for "video" (20 total, not pages).

Searching the hub is a little odd. You have to narrow down the search first from the resources page. First click on catagories, select plugins and scripts, then click on the magnifying glass at the top right corner of the page, type in your search term and select "this category" from the drop down menu. The "this catagory" option only turns up in the search bar once you have selected one on the resources page.

Jesus that is not intuitive in the least bit. Thanks for that though! It does make the results a lot better.

Quickest way I have found to find something you want is to use google.

For example if I wanted a video plugin for vam, literally google virt a mate + video plug in.

Yields great results :)
